Notice Eddie was ridiculing Tyson for fighting Otto Wallin and now Dillian Whyte is fighting him and apparently it's a tough fight 🤔
@heymrguitarman7637
@heymrguitarman7637 2 жыл бұрын
In fairness when Tyson fought him he was pretty much unknown so everyone assumed it was a warm up. Wallin has since made a name for himself and proven he isn't bad.

Wallin was a difficult fight for Fury and further proof of the dangers of picking unknown opponents in heavyweight boxing. I believe he might be a very good heavyweight. Be honest though. Wallin was meant to be an easy touch for Tyson to show off and look good against for the American audience and if Eddie didn't make a noise about Fury taking fights that weren't meant to be that testing then he's not doing his job!!

Can't say Joshua's gameplan was good, but that was more due to Usyk being so superior. McCracken should be happy he' still Joshua's trainer cuz I would've taken another trainer much earlier to improve better, like Mayweather for example. Would be cool if Fury would actually train Joshua, but it's not like he can teach Joshua to fight like him, well I doubt it. Rematch will be hard fought with a sharper Joshua but I see Usyk winning again, unfortunately. Cuz Usyk vs Fury isn't a great fight imo, Let's just hope Fury finished Wilder now for the rest I don't mind what happens :)

He’s right about the training, fighters used to fight regularly and stay sharp!! now they spend 3 months slogging their guts outs and leave the fight in the gym🙄 They should fight once every three months at least.

There’s a lot of things Fury could do after he hangs up his gloves (as well as being a husband and father): he could go into training other boxers, motivational speaking, be an advocate for mental health, be a boxing commentator, he could do guest appearances at other boxing gyms around the world, he could mentor troubled kids, he could train his own kids to box. I don’t think he realises just how inspirational each is and how much everyone respects and admires him. He’s definitely on course for leaving a legacy like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, etc.

He could go into acting, be an action movie star, but I really don't think that would hold any appeal for him.

He's such a straight-up guy. He's being absolutely clear here he has stayed fit and kept training and there's no way he could've walked this back and made excuses if he'd lost. It would be easy to have a "no comment" policy on training camp so he had potential excuses available if the fight went badly.

This guy is just a genius. He says he is not deceptive, while he constantly deceive people. He goes from saying that wilder is not even a fighter, to prise him as the most dangerous boxer, he says he would train Joshua for free, and guarantee Joshua would beat Usyk, but he knows perfectly well that the whole idea of him training Joshua is completely impossible to do…

But do you not understand a professional boxer is always doing training that's obvious isn't it you can't just leave the gym and start back up when you have to fight, that's how you get injuries, so yes every professional boxer train's most of the time, you just get to work on a certain style according to who your boxing in training camp so no Tyson is not talking in riddles you just don't like him an you are probably prejudiced against gypsy people in general or don't no nothing about boxing, I hope I have educated you a little bit

Tyson probably means teach AJ to lean on Usyk to drain him. Obviously that's not what AJ looks capable of doing, but if he can learn that then that could do it. Usyk needed to slow down and he didn't

The mention of Steve Cunningham in comparison to Usyk is brilliant , I clicked this thinking it’s going to be one of those jabs at Joshua he takes or even at Rob Mckracken but I think he’s being genuine now I hope Joshua actually says go on then and it happens would be the coolest shit ever in boxing

Fury is a great fighter but he vastly underestimates Usyk. I think he would get a shock if he fought Usyk because I think he's a little "heightist." He thinks if you're less than 6ft 6, you can't be any good.

@@anncraft5398 I don't think it's fair to say he hasn't fought anyone, I might have dreamed it but I'm sure he beat Joshua last year, quite convincingly it seemed. And to hear some idiots, Joshua was some kind of super boxer. However, yes, I think Fury would beat Usyk, but with some problems. It wouldn't be like it was with Whyte, for instance.

Tyson is always good value in an interview, you can't help but like the way he puts things across and he nails it with a lot of simple truths. But I can't agree with everything he says (next week he will probably contradict some of it anyway.) Like comparing Cunningham with Usyk for example, the only thing they have in common is their size. And the idea that he could prepare Joshua to win the rematch, sorry but I just don't see how AJ could achieve the transformation needed within that time frame, I think even now holding those 4 bworld heavyweight elts a lot of people have still not yet understood just how good Usyk is. I'm not sure how it would go between him and Fury, but he beats anyone else in the division especially Wilder who is tailor made for him.
