Shaveer, I so agree with you about following your heart and doing what you love. I left medical technology and chose Psychology for myself, and today it just doesn't feel like it's been 7 years. Work doesn't feel like work. And now that we're in quarantine and have A LOT of time to reflect, I feel it was THE BEST decision of my life.

I love how you try to have a positive outlook on everything as the law of attraction says but some things regarding the law defy how Allah created human beings. Let me explain, if a calamity befalls a person it doesn't necessarily mean he or she did something wrong that made him deserving of it, it just means that Allah is testing that person through whatever may have befallen the person. Also humans can't always be positive, I think this is escapism from reality. Humans go through a wide range of emotions and yes even though Islam encourages hope, nowhere does it say to be unrealistic. Law of attraction has become a religion for the Godless I believe. Chanting those mantras wont do a person any good unless the person gets up and does the effort and also invokes the blessing of Allah upon his action. That should be our belief as muslims as we get a very realistic approach towards life through the actions of the Prophet PBUH. Although there is a hadith that says, A person will recieve his Lord however he perceives him but that doesn't mean we end up negating reality. I hope this makes sense to whoever is reading this.
