When I was a kid in late 80's and during 90's I lived not far from that factory where those vinyl records were made. It was on Kalnciema street in Riga. Actually just across the street in front of Kalnciema kvartāls market. They were making records for all the Soviet Union and beyond. First Minox was made free Latvia before the war. Then the blueprints were captured both by the nazzis and the Soviets. First it was just a revolutionary handy smart commercial camera. A miracle of Latvian engineering genius Valters Caps (Walter Tsap). It was made with label "Made in Latvia" from 1937 to 1942. After WW II Russians ordered to scrape of "Latvia" part and imprint U.S.S.R instead.

because majority places are far supperior than ''popular'' places, and far cheaper. Like, there are bars where only students hang out , because they are far less expensive, like same beer can cost like 400% difference. I remember when i was in unvirestity, i went to station area, there was this always empty bar, with extremely good food and beer cost same as in stores pretty much. And it was always filled to the brim with students on fridays tho. And then there were this popular tourist traps, or rich student or snob places in old town, where i would never go, because food was bad, prices were extreme, but dumb tourists and rich students pay more, for less quality, and its always like that, everywhere, every time, every country, every nation. :D
