I want to play soccer so bad, but I've been greatly convinced not too, being told that it would be very dangerous because of that quarter sized hole in my head, that one little hit could kill me. This was very interesting to watch and learn about. Something you may think is neat is that there is better technology for helmets out now. I do downhill mountain biking and got a helmet that has MIPS technology, you can look it up but essentially it is a system that works when an impact occurs some of the initial force is absorbed by smaller rotating rubber parts inside the helmet. It acts almost like 2 different shells. The outer shell and inner shell that are connected by various rotating rubber that slightly twist or bend to absorb some of the impact.
