I've had a facom 3/8 drive for over 10 years now, my absolute favourite tool. Helps you get it on to the next click if there's not quite enough space, or if you're at arm's reach just twist the handle, and when the bolt is too loose to undo with the normal ratchet you can keep going with the twist handle. Everyone I show it to goes and buys one😎

What's the name of the facom tool?

I’ve had the ¼” facom version for a few years now and whilst it’s heavy compared to the barco ¼” socket set I just won’t remove it from tool bag. I have the barco socket set away. When someone else uses it always making sure I get it back. Definitely a game changer and glad a better price point unit is out now might grab me a ½” version now.

I've had a similar thing for the last 30years with a T bar on end. It's called a side winder, the gear head is a bit bulky. I think that new one is a bit better, nice find.

I have one of these good tools for certain jobs. Slightly related random fact because it's interesting - you won't find any 13mm headed nuts or bolts on Japanese motorcycles because the number 13 is bad luck in Japanese culture.
