The worst part of me in games is I miss open layups when I’m about to drive to the basket, i was talking to my mind and saying oh shoot I hope I don’t miss this
@GetHandles5 жыл бұрын
Not a good mentality to have, that's actually part of why you're missing. I'd watch this entire playlist and put the tips and drills into practice: kzbin.info/aero/PLVvu-7enStA8JbRcoWLsguUM_k4iDXiNe

Ya, I also exprienced that. And because of that i have doubt on myself.
@kingsmithie17125 жыл бұрын
I hope this will work out for you but before the match starts, you need to make 5 or 6 consecutive lay ups, maybe 10 to work out with your flow in the game and I bet you will gain confidence on driving down the basket

Part of it is different people guarding you. You might get used to one. But then the other might be a better defender.

Great video I was just playing yesterday and honestly it was harder to dribbling in like a 4 on 4 or 5 on5 and when it’s like 1v1 2v2 or 3v3 I’m good but thanks for the tips coach J
@GetHandles5 жыл бұрын
The cone and tennis ball will help you a bunch with that, also just getting into more 5 on 5.

Funny thing is that my league games use my ball most of the time. My problems lie on either a zone defense or that the defender plays so close that I never can get the ball easily to even start the dribble. So bad that I complained to the ref that one guy has untucked my jersey, almost pulled down my shorts and done things some people have to pay for. In the zone defense, I usually am the one that bullet passes to the corner shooter. It is just so rare for me to catch the ball and then pull a move out on a defender.

That Is part of the game, he said right, you must confortable with your game, no matter if you lose the ball, if you dont make mistake you Will not up your level, but never never show your opponent you are nervous.

Really good stuff 👌🏀 Most of my practice is freestyle. With trees or chairs instead of cones. I love pretending they're actual defenders too 😂

I practice right before the game and do great. But when the game starts, I can't do anything. It's so frustrating for me and it has been happening for me the whole season. I am at the playoffs now and there are some games where I haven't even scored but I am my starting point guard. How do i fix this?
