Why Dry Hire Wedding Venues Win

Love this, I’m getting in May and my venue is dry hire, Walcot Hall in Shropshire. It’s stunning and means we can have a lovely venue but have a cheaper food option. I have a large family so buffet style food and a hog roast was a much more affordable option rather than a sit down 3 course meal at £70 a head. My venue are offering a drinks package and also have furniture and table wear but I’m being all my decor. Also realising food isn’t going to be an issue as we will probably have a micro wedding if the rules don’t change any time soon xx

Hi. Great video again that is useful. I have to say I thought dry hire meant no alcohol,. LOL. we will most likely postpone until next year as there is no way having a wedding day with face masks can happen. We can compromise with live music and choir but not with the face masks. We will only postpone once so if we do it will be for a year. After than it will be small registry office and the rest of the budget will be for deposit on a house or something. You made me chuckle as you said you don't like the word "package". Is this just in a wedding sence? Or are there darker forces at play. Our venue are very accomodating and their "packages". Lol sorry are just a framework. As you can pick and choose what components you wish. In the current climate you may have forgotten to mention that if you need to postpone your dry venue and you need another date all suppliers/venders need to be available for your new date. I admire the creativity of some weddings and as we as a couple are about as creative as mud I have to say you are always positive and smiling. We don't live in your part of the world but I would like to say you have been a massive help when picking things like photographer,ect. I don't know if you remember I asked a while ago how you deal with uninvited guests at weddings. I ask because anyone can turn up at a church wedding,. But have you had an even where this has happened. I am not saying it will happen to us but some tactical and tactful tips from you would be great. If you have answered this please let me know and I will look again. You are a great source of information and even a fella like myself can understand and use alot of your good advise.
