You can tell he’s just a natural linebacker. A lot of modern linebackers converted from other positions. Trot has linebacker in his blood

I saw last night what I saw in his Clemson tape. A guy that knows where to be on the football field. He's a good player, no doubt, but his best attribute is discipline.

@@CCSBaseball21 Most Linebackers are smaller tweener types these days. They are almost never in the original type of Trotter Sr anymore. The reason Trot Jr will succeed his father is his hands. If he can build on the pure violence of blitzing and run stopping he could 💯 be a sideline to sideline LB for us for years to come, and Trotter is faster than you think. His father was slow but violent.

He looks pretty good! Esp for rookie. He looked comfortable and not lost. Great story! Great situation for him! Hes at home with the team he loves. Howie and Lurie are big fans of his and his families and that matters too just from like a confidence aspect. Kid seems really genuine and humble, respectful guy Who i feel will learn from his dad and team and become a real pro With a chance to have a decent career! 🪓 🦅

He's definitely a run stopper, takes on blocks well fills well ,gets his helmet in there for contact, keeps his feet, takes decent angles on the ball carrier, I'd like to see him in coverage more see what his closing speed and pass defense looks like in space but his in box defense gets it done...dad taught him well 💯

Trotter was a 2 time All American at Clemson and would be a 3 time All American if he stayed his SR year. It's absurd he fell to the 5th round reminds me exactly of Grady Jarrett you knew someone was getting a complete steal

The Ravens right guard, number 67, holds/grabs on just about every play ... Every single play you show here from the Ravens, and 67 is in it, he holds whoever is in front of him ... Rather unfair ... I think if I were Coaching LB's, I would try teaching them to recognize them coming as fast as they can, and block or swipe the arms, so that grabbing cannot happen ...

I'm alot more confident in him than Dean. Also one of the critics him not getting around a block that made the rb run horizontally.... I think his responsibility was a gap anyway... he made the back run outside and trust the teammates to make the play.

Trotter was a 2nd team all american. at clemson. it really ticked me off that the eagles waited til the 5th round to draft him as bad as our linebackers have been. We got lucky that the rest of the nfl gms are dumbasses as well when it comes to scouting linebackers.

We should retire his number after his first preseason game. Same thing for those Georgia players that everyone had penciled in to Canton ,Ohio already. The people that thought Howie finally got his strategy correct by only drafting players from big known schools as if you need to be some critically thinking genius to think that is some new idea.All of these guys need time to develop wherever they played no matter the position.Most will be bust and never make it and Eagle fans will go on believing that the Eagles GM is some ho so much worse or so much better considering results and plays made in the first game in preseason. Eagle fans are manipulated into what to think because they here their local media repeat the same information over and over whether its true or not. Just hearing it so much they believe it must be credible because nobody has shut it down with any real fact or logic. There is always a host on a time slot that takes the view will influence then change the opinion of the fan because its constantly repeated therefore they must be in the know,

His problem Is he wants to change directions on a blitz. A proper blitz you run straight in as a disrupter. A blitz is made to cause chaos. He needs to be more confident in his blitz

On the play break down at 8:38 i think it wasnt a good angle its clearly go outside i think trotter could have taken a better angle and still beat the block on the outside
