Some other points- More voltage will require more insulation which is also another challenge. Using more conductors will lead to more core losses in terms of eddy, hysteresis & also windage loss.So Efficiency will go down.

U r doing a great job Abhishek. But as per my understanding initial starting of the video requires a bit more clarifications. Why Generator size is getting increased when voltage getting more and more because of higher sizes of insulation. Similarly why Generator size is getting increased when voltage getting less than 11 KV because of winding sizes getting increased for higher current as the Power is fixed. Hence, the Generator size is best obtained in 11KV for optimization of insulation as well as in winding sizes. Thanks Abhishek I appreciate your video.

Sir but or ek sawal hai koi country ka generation plant pe 50/60Hz frequency kaise maintained karte hai ? Kyuki generation ka power agar thoda kam ya zyada hoga kisi time toh frequency ko bhi barna ya ghatna chahiye but woh toh constant hi raheta hai aisa kaise possible hota hai?

Really you are doing great job.👍👍👍 I am also connected with ABG Group(an employee in Birla family) I have watched your previous video about Synchronous Generator but I have some dought in Generator speed.(#10 MW BHEL MAKE GENERATOR OF 8000RPM) I want to know about :- Is there any Gears system between Turbine & ALTERNATOR (Turbine o/p 8000RPM feeding to Gears system & Gear box o/p is 3000/1500 rpm-feeding to Rotor) ? Or Directly feeding to Rotor 8000 RPM, Is the Alternator o/p Frequency is 50Hz? Because as sir told the cost will get increase and size of generator will get increase so mechanical power will also increase due to which we do not exceed 11 kv or below the 11 kv

sir hum ghar or industries mi 220/440 use karte hi but jo 11KV hi aush ko hum 220/440 convert kr k use jab k hamara kaam too 11KV voltage c v chal skta hi humne dekha hi 11,66kv,132 Kv ki jarurat parahi ...road pr humne dekha hi 11 kv 33KV 66KV 132 Kv etc

Sir cable badhane par current divide ho jata hai. Magar clamp meter se check karne par kisi cable me jyada rahata hai kisi me kam. Lekin sabhi equal rahana chahiye.plz es par video banaye

And i have an question that in a power plant suppose the single unit has a capacity of 300 MW and its generating voltage is 20 KV. So how the Mega Watt is descided that we are generating. Means how we will descide that we have to generate 300MW of power only.

How increasing voltage will increase generator size. Well actually generator size should decrease. 6.6 Kv generator will be bigger than 11kv generator. Because conductor size increases
