@@Pro_extinction "Extinction is the best if it doesn't cause suffering" That's only valid if you value avoiding suffering more than existence, and that only works if you accept the premise that suffering is the only bad thing. But as I just said, extinction is a thing that I consider bad and doesn't cause suffering necessarily. The other one I mentioned was stagnation which is basically the elimination of change/growth. As an example imagine a world where humans have created a perfect utopia, but in that utopia nothing ever changes because its already considered perfect, this would be bad by my estimation even with diminished suffering. What someone considers bad is just reflective of what they value. Your highest order value is avoiding suffering, mine is the flourishing of conscious beings. Suffering is definitely a factor to consider when thinking about flourishing, but so is existing and growth.
