I think el Salvadorans should realize how unique and precious this moment is. Not every day you get to witness a country experience such an awakening, such a renaissance of this magnitude, at this pace and going from being painfully irrelevant to trend setter, irreverently "disruptive" and all in just a few years. As of now, alongside with Bitcoin, El Salvador's most valued currency, is -the power of example- for so many other nations around the globe with similar limitations, struggles and assets. That makes this moment extraordinarily unique, I hope as a nation, as a people, we will be able to carry this through to its full potential. Thank you guys so much for making this great content!

El Salvador is experiencing a reawakening of sorts, and it is fascinating to see the country through a different lens, the observations of people who do not know very much about the sad or terrifying experiences of our past generations, I left El Salvador many years ago, when playing on the streets and climbing trees as a child was common place, several years later I returned to a different world, a world of barbed wire and high walls (civil war years) and at that moment I lost all hope. Seeing the destruction of our society created by a few, for their own benefits whether it be power or wealth. Listening to you and your guests, makes me see that the renaissance of a culture and traditions very dear to me is real. and I want to thank all of you for giving our country a different light a light of hope that things really can change and it is happening now.

Many Salvadorean who lived in the USA ,and are retiring are going back to El Salvador.This leaves many opportunities :the ones coming back can open restaurants ,or American style care centers for those returning or if they speak English something to cater to Americans who are retiring in El Salvador or American tourists :many opportunities. .

Wow very nice video 😍! Jenny i liked a couple of your points: 1- The idea of a net positive impact in your community/society when you leave. 2- If you go to a new place/culture, leave your first world expectations/actitudes behind and open to the local culture. Just the reason that made them move to el salvador seems a bit scary, a first world in chaos! Thanks Jenny 👍

You should contact Nicky and James from New Zealand living in El Salvador and their channel is the same names, also Two people in paradise who they are form Canada. Good Video and thank you. One important thing is for all the people who are moving to El Salvador, the message is that we all are in this together and we nee to support our government because this is our safe place and is under a very systematic attack by NATO countries due to El Salvador represents the example as the way of freedom. You guys need to feel part of the roots of El Salvador and be part of it because without El Salvador, we will be in trouble. We are happy for new people.

Great interview... your guests have been on the right track for a long time. I like their personal views on economics. The printing of too much fiat currencies.. global inflation... and to payback governments are going to rely on collecting massive amounts if income taxes from hard working citizens.... governments collect and spend and print more debt everyday

Dont get me wrong, I am glad people are finding El Salvador as a good place to make a home, But I am noticing a theme with lot of people moving there because they are angry at their countries of origin. Kind of like starting a relationship with a person just to be mean to their ex. Remember its not what the country can do for you. Its what you can do for the country where you live. Thank you and best wishes for you Jenn.

Yes but a lot of Salvadorans moved to USA, Canada, Europe and Australia and they were also angry and upset about the situation in El Salvador back in the 70’s-90’s

Yes some where angry that they had to leave. I’m one of them and know many others - it’s a human emotion , part of the grieving process
@livinlikealocalSV Жыл бұрын
All the expats I’ve met aren’t in a vengeful place towards their home countries- actually the emotion is more one of sadness that things didn’t change so they didn’t feel the need to put family before country.

I will add some relevant info if u plan to move in ( Which is great btw) but to consider. *Have a Remote job, if you have a European Salary and live there, money will last greatly. LOW TAXES, Main fiscal Benefit for Europeans 10% tax on whatever u earn as salary, not like Spain... Social Security LOW, (but also public health), CHEAP HOUSES, Big houses. Be ready for traffic jams. most people are bilingual. Some info from El Salvador: - Minimum Salary: Around $360 - Average local food dish: $1.50 to $3.50 - Average Restaurant: $7.50 to $15.50 (Ridiculously similar for some EU places). - No metro lines or train lines ( car is quite a MUST).
