So good! I've come to the Lord later in my life and am still amazed at the limited beliefs held by Christians. I'm so grateful that the Holy Trinity has shown me the love I've been longing for most of my life. My previous faith was very performance based, so I was ready for the real deal through Christ.

Yes. 47 years of walking with Jesus, usually alone, believing what Mike is sharing vs what most Christians do bc of worshipping the Bible.

I was told to sell everything i knew and was taught about God to buy the truth of who He really is. He revealed Himself to me. He is love.

My whole life of believing the Bible & what jesus has done for us has never gained any momentum or power, except for small glimpses & one healing of a back injury. All very encouraging , but I feel flat & not seeing any progress. When I listen to yoursellf, JPA, Ian Clayton etc, it goes over my head really. Its probly 10 years since I attended any church full time, just bits & pieces

This is the first time I am hearing that the God of the old testament as the wrathful, vengeful God was not an accurate picture of Him that the old testament writers had portrayed Him to be. That makes so much sense as tmit further explains why Jesus had to come to fulfill the prophesies and show us the way and the true love of the Father. Thank you Mike !

Awesome! Love that you bring reality to loving your enemies. Forgiveness before its asked for or even it is. Happened to me recently and so freeing. ❤

Wonderful teaching. Mike God’s path is a path of righteousness. So not everyone is saved. We created in his image with all his attributes including a will to choose. U are held accountable for your choice. I don’t teach on hell. I just don’t have revelation on it. Your revelation on what happens to evil people after death? Rapists, paedophiles, murderers?

The religious are the first to cast the first stone on “those sinners”. How will any of us see God and live?

The turn the other cheek story Jesus told was when a 9 class system was implemented by the Romans was in play. Jesus was demonstrating how to undo the class system without violating the 'law'. The upper class would only strike someone with the toilet hand, never the clean eating hand. So when Jesus said turn the other cheek they were left with the choice of using their clean hand only therefore equalizing the class system or walking away. Brilliant Jesus!

This thing of turning the other cheek if someone slaps you, meaning not taking retribution, this was of great confusion to me as a woman in an abusive relationship.... Do you mean to say that this is saying that people are to allow themselves to be abused without defence? I'm not saying l disagree with the context of a unconditionally loving God but what about us caring enough about our value in God to at least defend ourselves? Children aren't able to defend themselves. Many times neither are women or men able to defend themselves against abusive partners. Some elderly people are abused by their adult children. I need a more comprehensive explanation for that to make any sense to me. What about God's love for the person who is being slapped? Forgiving someone isn't licence for them to repeat abuse... How can that in any way be helpful to an abusive person?

When it comes to abuse, I dont believe God wants you to be a punching bag from someonw who is suppose to love you and has covenant with you. Because He is a loving God He wouldn't want children in a position where they are abused. I think of that scripture warning those who hurt His young ones. And idk I believe there is a different standard when theres abuse from a spouse. I know God loves even the abuser. However to be in a place of abuse like that idk i just believe that scenario is different. You still love them as Christ loved those who beat Him but I dont believe you are to be a victim by your spouse like that. Sorry im probably talking in circles. For me i believe in loving by I refuse to be beat by a spouse etc. Now if im being persecuted or whatever I would "turn the other cheek".

Someone commented something in this speaking about "turning the cheek" if you have time i would look for it. I think its below this comment. I also think some of what Jesus says isnt always literal but speaking i think the word im looking for is "figuratively". Like dont literally cut your hand off if it causes you to sin, but remove the things in your life that make it easier for you to fall into sin.

I did really enjoy this, but on the Noah’s Arc part, God did say that this was going to be happening because the whole earth was filled with violence. And Jesus earned Capernaum that if the works that He was doing had been done in Capernaum, that they would have repented and still be around. So if does appear that some acts and happenings are a result of collective evil. ????

Today one Christian lady ask me difficult questions I have no answer. If God is Love in OT why He commanded to kill Moab and other nations? Why God chose one nation but others had to be killed when it seems like injustice ? Why other none Jewish nations had to live without loving God?

The God in OT are actually a few pagan gods, blood thirsty gods.
