Key Mistakes made by Competitive Programmers during interview. 1.Have good communication skills as they play a crucial role while explaining a solution. 2.Don't be arrogant of your rating, respect the interviewer and use simple Data structures if possible. 3.Solve a DSA sheet to get familiarized with different data structures such as linked list and binary trees etc (Striver's list preferred) 4.Know the underlying working for your implementations and Data Structures as CP people get used to using templates, lol. 5.Luck might not favour you, but over the course of multiple interview you will eventually get lucky, Correct me if I have missed any points, thank you. (Agar grammatical mistake mile to samaj jana, cp karta hu.)

I don't get it. Why no point about development is being discussed? Do people really think coding or inside a job is only about doing DSA/cp ?
@PriyanshAgarwal Жыл бұрын
Well this video was about why Top Competitive Coders don't get a job, clearly this wasn't about if CP/DSA is relevant at a job or not.
@techlogger Жыл бұрын
@@PriyanshAgarwal Yes, you are correct, but my point is still Valid somehow. People often focus solely on grinding CP /DSA, creating a scenario where these are the only thing in computer science. They tend to overlook other crucial aspects such as system designs, computer science fundamentals, working on projects, and contributing to open-source projects. I believe that during interviews, these things also matter (along with DSA ofc) and this can also be a reason for not getting selected in interviews. While I do enjoy working on DSA, we shouldn't overlook the fact that the primary purpose of DSA is to implement better solutions in software development. Thus, completely neglecting the development aspect is not a good approach. What are your thoughts on this matter 🐈?
