I think the issue is js that with how long they are taking to release conquest (its been a year since it was supposed to release now) the expectation of how much the launch should have is constantly increasing and I definitely feel the same way. If conquest doesnt release w more content than l2 i think a lot of people will be rightfully unhappy

You play the game like 3 times as a newby and screw off due to a terrible new player experience, terrible community, voidwalker being a cheeks system, time waster grinds, terrible state of pvp, and terrible balancing. Don't kid yourself, it isn't that the game is so good people played it too long causing them to be over critical, it's because the devs haven't fixed core issues for years.

i do majorly agree that content creators hold up deepwoken. although honestly i dont think deepwoken is necessarily dry, but its dry for alot of long time cc's. Seeing as we make it our "job" we literally have to do everything that popular to get views. as a whole i dont find deepwoken that dry despite making videos and always thinking about the game. But to be fair i make different content compared to most other people

I really try my hardest to enjoy the game I was once so passionate about, and yet 700 hours of gameplay later, I'm getting bored and sick of it. The sheer amount of toxicity, the lack of updates, the fact most of the community isn't nice to people who just want to learn. about 160~ hours of gameplay ago, I just talking to someone and said I had beat Chaser for the first time. I was at an all time high, and I just got killed on the spot. I kept coming back, continuing to try to ignore it, but god, dude.

Honestly no updates will bring back the feeling of old deepwoken. Old deepwoken was fun because it felt like a challenge where other games didn't, years ago i remember when I got sent to the depths i would be scared to log onto the game without one of my friends with me because thats how much of a challenge it was. These days people have memorised the entire map, every one of the mobs attack patterns, and honestly nothing can bring back how it used to be.
