Ive consistently played bo2 only on Xbox and you can almost always find lobby’s, even grief lobby’s. Multiplayer too. I think the play count numbers are actually correct. There’s usually between 1000-3000 online. When Microsoft fixed the servers back a while ago I saw it at 12,000. Not sure if that number has stayed consistent but I know it’s easy to find games

something I appreciate a ton about black ops 2 zombies is that those of us who don't have time to set up for an hour or just can't memorize the 17 quest item and equipment locations could hop onto town or farm and actually have fun I personally love bus depot since its basically a modernized nacht der untoten and even though I like buried and mob of the dead I rarely have the energy or time to have a guide up or try to memorize the plethora of things needed to play that map effectively, I've missed survival maps ever since.

1:13 yeah I have played the Xbox 360 version and the PlayStation 3 version recently and because there is no backwards compatibility for most ps3 games black ops 2’s player counts on weekends are only in double digits on the holidays and weekends, On weekdays they drop dramatically from a average of about 70 people to about 12 to 20 people on ps3. On Xbox it is the same but weekdays are about 30 to 40 people and on weekends that’s about 70 people. But I don’t recommend playing these console versions because hackers are still rampant due to custom firmware on PlayStation and modded xbox consoles, These hackers can pose a huge security threat and can due harm to your console, can dox you and they can permanently damage and reset your stats and classes.

I feel like one of the huge reasons bo2 was so great is because anyone could hop on and have fun while playing but now I feel like if I hop on any of the newer cods it feels like just about 8/10 lobbies are just filled with level 800+ sweats and its just not enjoyable to play for more than 5 minutes. For console, it’s mostly Xbox that still has online players since Microsoft did get the Activision/Blizzard deal. Multiplayer gets between 3k-10k players depending on day and time. Zombies has a few players, enough that we did the origins EE legit.

What I don't like about the newer CODs is the amount of attachments that they have, I don't want to watch KZbin videos for builds for guns in order to keep up with the meta, I know its fun for some people but for me I just want a simple attachment system where if I want more range then I'll just use long barrel not a specific barrel. Simple attachments that has one purpose should be enough you shouldn't have to do algebra to get a good gun

I play Xbox and there is a solid 1,500-2,000 players online in multiplayer and zombies daily it’s easy to find a multiplayer lobby on popular modes especially team deathmatch you can find many different lobby’s and zombies has a lot of players on transit and the survival maps and usually a decent amount on origins, mob, buried, and nuketown

the QBB LSW with grip and rapid fire is meta asf dawg wdym Infact here are some sleeper guns that are really meta asf MTAR with a supressor has 0 recoil (don't even need a grip but it helps) SVU-AS if you aim for the gut the second shot will usually recoil you into a headshot SWAT 5.56 if you hit the first 2 shots as chest shots the 3rd one can hit anywhere and still kill Thats all i can remember and i don't even currently own the game, last time i did was late 2021/early 2022

Tbh they could rerelease Bo2 exactly as is (with a couple fixes to problems from the past) INCLUDED with custom zombies support (also tranzit being finished as it was originally intended) and slightly more polished graphics but the exact same color scheme and somehow people will still say the OG was better Controversial opinion, I think the best loadout system is Ghosts where you trade perks for other items, more items=less perks and vice versa, I love that

I have played on bo2 recently. MP doesn't have many people sometimes but there is still enough for 8 or so lobbies of tdm, a few for kill confirmed, a few for ffa and a lobby or two for some of the other popular gamemodes. Zombies is my jam though and that's still filling lobbies. I also haven't crosses as many hackers in zombies as in MP. MP also doesn't usually have hacker issues but you may see a match or 2 if you have an hour + gaming session. I just suggest leaving that lobby and trying to find another one at that point though.

@@Trahzy I mean the type 25 is literally the FAMAS from Bo1 but with a reskin Infact every gun in Bo2 is just a reskin of Bo1 guns, and for Bo3 every gun is just a reskin of Bo2 guns There are some originals scattered throughout but they are few and far between And if you don't believe me I mean why would they recreate the scar from Bo2 into Bo3 when they could just reskin it and call it the Man-O-War The SCAR killed in 3 shots to the chest but had a slower fire rate than the M27 and SWAT 5.56, which both kill in 3 shots, 4-5 at range Infact, the SWAT 5.56 if used correctly is the best gun in the game, it's basically the M16 from CoD 4, 2 shots to the chest and the 3rd can hit anywhere even the feet to kill My argument for the MTAR is just that it has no recoil if you throw on a suppressor, you don't even need a grip idk why it's like that Was I a bot? No, I played against bots because I never had WiFi (still don't) so I payed attention to what could get me the most kills the fastest, without regard for most things in regular online multiplayer Now I just play Bo3 zombies or nothing at all

I would love to play these older CODs on my PS3 again but they are all jankified now. However I am happy that on PC and Xbox they are playable. If you know how screwy the PS3 versions are, well you know. If not? Here... MW(07') can't be launched online unless you unplug your router then plug it back in once the game launches, MW2 I think is fine. MW3 is broken unless you get a custom patch someone made and install it on your PS3. But that requires the console to be Jailbroken. WaW is okay I think. BO1 your rank resets every time you log off. BO2 crashes if you launch online. You need to launch the game, enter a map of zombies or multiplayer, once in the game exit out. Then you can sign in and play. But, if you want switch modes, you need to sign out switch the mode then you can sign back in. So... Rip PS3 COD... 6:27 I knew those Ray gun tricks worked!!! I knew it...

I dont think Origins is #1 i think that title either goes to Shadows of Evil or Der Eisendrache. Simply because almost every Area in Origins looks the same, its always trenches. Yes, the feeling of being in a WW1 battlefield is conveyed perfectly, but it just isnt fun anymore after being there for too long. BO3 also has more maps and more stuff to do than BO2 zombies, so i would take that over it everyday. + It also has Origins.
