HE and arty nerf benefitted this tank the most. The other tank which also benefitted was the Type 5 Heavy but that tank got the alpha monster gun heavily nerfed so that tank was automatically hammered down from the meta and this tank, which was OK before, has become the most similar thing to the Chieftain.

@@Terrorbrot It's also really worrying how fast it can move. It's nimble and can be relocate fairly quickly. I can understand the change in the gun because there was no point in using this tank over the 50B but this has become ridiculous now. There was absolutely no need to also increase 50% in the engine power. I guess eventually WG will nerf the reload time and the gun dispersion values and maybe reduce a bit the engine power.

It used to be that a full platoon of 150+mm HE can chip damage from this thing, but not any more. I don't fully understand the HE nerf.

@@MinazukiShiun Now with HESH rounds you can literally do nothing or full damage sideways, with HE is very similar but overall the HE damage average has been clearly nerfed, benefitting hulldown tanks which were strong before. The only way I see the Kranvagn could be nerfed is by increasing its reload time, the dispersion values, reducing the engine power and also reducing the traverse speed both in terrain and turret. Whenever that happens, next tank which will become super popular will be the STB-1.

It’s stupid how arguably the hardest tank to play from the battle pass is the one that would get more point, but in this pass the Kran gives you more points then the Leopard, because of course, another company that don’t play their own game. I play Ranked sometimes just for the rewards, but I miss the second season because I left the game for four months so I won’t be able to get the TD.

Ranked is just not fun. First of all you need a good tank which I don’t have. Second if you’re free to play you lose credits at tier 10 so I usually just play tier 8 premiums. Playing ranked with not meta tanks just put you at a disadvantage

Arty... Love it or hate it, Arty did stop the campers and now Camp Festing is a popular, common tactic for players. Let the aggressive/inexperienced go in early to spot and generally get slaughtered, then finally move up and clean up the remaining damaged enemy. Arty, while a pain in the arse, did minimise stat camping.

By no means ever have artillery been op. For every direct hit I land with artillery (100% crew, equipment, blablabla) I have to take like 15 shots that barely miss the enemy and then deal about 200 dmg at best (pre nerf). And this is someone the average butthurt player never sees. You only notice when you get hit, you never notice the sheer amount of missed shells.

@@rodhales9536 You can’t be serious. There are maps like airfield and prok where arty can terrorize the entire map regardless of where you are. All arty does is punish the players who try to make things happen. I don’t care if 1 in 100 games it helped against a hull down Kran who pushed into a good position it’s still unfair and broken because it’s an uncounterable sky cancer that forces people to stay in cover, ironically encouraging camping when it’s supposed to do the opposite.

Ranked is only not fun when you don't try to have fun and only look for the rewards. Playing 268v4 with bond turbo + durability + quick repair module + speed govenor was the most fun I had in WOT last ranked season in a while. Ramming stbs and krans for 1k damage is hilarious. This season I'll also try the same setup with the is-7

Rank for me is both depressed and relaxed at the same time. Depressed because of the competition, but also relaxed because it won't count into your stat, so just play to get the rewards. I even play it f2p: no gold, no bond equip, no food and can still make some small credits.

In wot blitz kranvgn use autoreloader instead autoloader, and i like it more because i can shoot like standard tank and shoot like autoloader tank , but i prefer Emil 2 at tier 9 cus its use the same gun with few things worse than tier 10

I don't understand how I can have reasonable success in the Emil I & II but only have the occasional acceptable battle in the Kranvagn, other than maybe the skill step-up to tier X. Maybe I'm being too reckless with my unbeatable heavy tank...!? I have much more fun, do more damage and have a far higher WR in my Progetto 65.

This is why this game is so stupidly broken these days the kran is one of the tanks in blitz that is literally almost as slow as a superheavy and it's balanced yet here it can even reach 70 kph with better armor 1200 extra dpm and more gun depression

Turret speed is pain, one can handle a slow tank to a degree but it the turret rotation speed that hurts the most for me.. Blitz is far more balanced though and easier to grind and make cridets even when spamming gold😁, WOT pc is painful grind and unforgiving if you make a small mistake..

You could kind of make the same video about the leopard. It's also one of the vehicles that gets extra battle pass points and it's honestly just as OP (if not more) than the kranvagn, in the hands of the right player, with the right field mods, and crew and whatnot.

Having just got the 2125 myself around three or four months ago and maxing it out as best I could. Reload the dpmv aim speed and its armor are fantastic you are 100% correct. Everybody likes playing autoloaders and it's a crying shame because there are some extremely damn good tanks like the E5 they get left behind in The autoloader Meta.

Arty has always been a stupid class but it was the main counter to hull-down heavies, who otherwise could simply dominate key positions without risk. Take arty away, and the game balance is thrown horribly off. That PLUS the HE nerfs means that hull-down heavies basically have no real counter present in the average game. There's a million better ways arty could be implemented but at least they were part of the game balance.

Can someone answer my question about ranked games. Soo I have 115% at ranked then I lose(-1 chev) became 112% I win(+ 1 chev) then became 113%. Soo basically when you lose -3% when you win +1% is this how ranked works??

(Chevrons gained - Chevrons lost)/games played = Efficiency So basically you just added two games to games played but didn’t gain any Chevron, that’s why your efficiency goes down. Just math.

I hate ranked, it's nothing but a dumpster fire of a mode with more premium spam than already exists, the only, ONLY redeeming factor of ranked is that I don't have to fight any Chieftains or 279Es

plays for free is all well & good, but please use an auto fire extinguisher. It doesn't cost gold, so you can buy it, & it only ever costs you if it is used; all the while cutting your chance of fire by 10%.

Do you use vents vert stab turbo on all maps ? do you use an alternative equipment as well ? last season i played kran with vents vert stab IRR and i took the bronze. Thinking now to swap IRR for turbo to try it out, although i wanted to boost gun handling as much as possible so i can snipe other krans cupolas reliably.

Everybody seems to be playing it except me. I personally just couldn't deal with the Emil II anymore. As for ranked, it is an absolute waste of my time, patience, and above all else, my sanity. I dislike it for it now represents. Overpowered tanks is the way to go. That is a pretty poir way on how to design a game like this...

You can pen the sides of the turret in a better angle and shooting the cupolas is easier because heat has better normalisation.

Ranked is yet again even greater trash than last iteration. You ony ever see Krans, the 3 musketeers {Leo1s, STBs, Prog65s} and then the occasional offshoot tank that has no idea what its doing in ranked. And what I hate also vigorously is that they hide new equipment in this mode.. Why the FCK are those not just available for bonds in the damn shop.
