One of my biggest inspirations to try to take Maple a bit more seriously was a Night Walker. He played for just over a year, got 8k legion, beat Black Mage, liberated, and quit. I wish I could be as cool as him

"When it does feel really good, it does feel really good." What wise words. :D While Night Walker has okay mobbing, they are incredible at bossing. One of the best classes for that. It can't die unless something goes extremely wrong and its burst damage is one of the best. It just requires a ton of funding, one of the biggest investments among all classes. Kinda like its adventurer cousin. Also, Night Walker's theme is very cool, and if I remember correctly, it was never bad since its release (at least I don't remember this class ever being in a weak spot). Personally, I always preferred Night Walker over Night Lord.

Whenever I see someone say NW farming is mediocre, I automatically assume he's a monkey who thought Ravenous Bat supersedes Shadow Bat and they have it on for farming. You're suppose to farm with Shadow Bat, his bats bounce out of your screen and doesn't have limit. Shadow Bite also spawns 15 bat when hitting mobs that will spread, if you play him and farming is mediocre then that is 100% skill issue.

I agree with the bossing but I hypered NW and his mobbing is not bad.

NW is my 2nd main after my 273 Pally, at 250 my NW kills a boss in half the time my Pally used to do at that lvl. The fact that NW has all the right tools in his kit makes it superior to NL especially when solo bossing for mesos, with NW you can have a full guaranteed burst due to its bind while with NL your burst can be messed up if you don't have the 5th job bind which wastes a 5th skill slot. For training in the right maps NW is also very good but as you mentioned nodes are important for that as well as equips.

Leveling Every Cygnus Knight to Max level Currently, started With my niche favorite Blaze Wizard, but After deciding Night walker second, It’s truly a wonderful experience so far. Thinking Dawn Warrior or ThunderBreaker next.

When I summon my clones and placedown partner and use rapid throw V skill on czak, my computer shits itself and sounds like it's corrupting with a BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sound and it's the only thing in modern maple that lags me anymore

how do you train with quintriple throw or the aoe skill? I noticed with quintriple throw I have bats consistently. That's the main reason when I grind I grind with quintriple throw.

I wonder if nexon is going to improve the node situation in reboot at all. I switched servers at the start of the year since the mid game plateau hits really hard in reg servers if you’re f2p or cheap2play, and I like reboot a lot more for that reason but boy is it tough to get alts started because of how annoying it is to farm nodes. Even with events, it’s helpful but the sheer number of nodes the game expects you to get is just really rough, and on top of that even early on you can get unlucky and not even get the level 1 boost nodes you want for ages, before even trying to level them up. It makes classes like NL that look really fun but have heavy node requirements a lot less alluring to jump into.

Priority is definitely for reg since KMS is all reg mostly. Tower of oz was also made for reg in mind lmao, reboot needs to buff rates for rings

@@jaaxc1036 oh yeah I haven’t gotten into ToOz yet but that’s definitely an entire other rabbit hole to go down. I’m just trying to get my last gollux item and somehow drop a second dom pendant atm (boomed my first one at 14 stars last event, feels bad man), can’t wait to get to the true grind of farming for ToOz gear and pitched gear lol. I’ve also heard that even arcane umbra gear is a massive pain on reboot, been buying the stones from the event shops to prepare.

Bite farming is the best way to put your middle finger up at Nexon. No class in the game can get close to NW's rates when it comes to being lazy, i.e. literally standing still and pressing 1 button, and it can honestly make you fall in love with farming.

@@Mckhus 1. Seeker absolutely does not have the range to full clear from Moonbridge+. 2. Getting AB to oneshot with seeker takes a lot more funding than getting bats to oneshot. Any more suggestions?

@@Mckhus AB can't do that post-Moonbridge due to map size, seeker can't go beyond the screen but bats can. You might as well just say you're a contrarian who played neither class and don't have a character anywhere near Moonbridge

NW is better than night lord for sure, mobbing is good, on burst almost as strong as NL and off burst way better
