I agree, I want more info on what is going on, stats on killed enemies, stats on failed missions and stuff, maybe even a player voting system so we can vote on which planets to liberate next. It would fit the theme of the game, maybe give us the ability to use our requisition or war medals to vote, not really capping our limit on number of votes cast.

Oh, they definitely will. The first game had a ton of different missions based on the war status. Even big city defenses when the enemies get closer to super earth. Paired with taking out bosses

I'd also like to see a voting system implemented for voting on which planets to liberate or which sectors to open up next. Would fit the theme of the game well. You could use requisition points or war medals as votes and have it be a currency sync at the same time. OR You could have players vote on where to "focus" their efforts. Meaning you give this planet priority on the map (kinda like an sos) but all players who complete missions there get bonus rewards

To touch on the kernal level anti cheat: Those that complain usually dont realize that a lot of their high profile competitive games also use it. Examples being Apex Legends and Valorant/League of Legends, which are highly prominent games in the sphere still. If those that complained checked their list of games, they might be surprised to see that they already gave that access to other games.

Yea it's def one of the technological taboos of the time. It's essentially the modern day version of puritan vs witches with the over arching fear of the unknown. Thinking logically unless you live off the grid in the middle of the wilderness and are not connected to the internet, that's the only way to guarantee anonymity. And that ceases the second you connect to your bank account

Thanks for the timestamps and keeping the video so well organized. Appreciate the updates and the content. As far the anti cheat, it's one of the many reasons I've moved over to console gaming for the most part. No intrusive software on my computer and the integrity of online experiences aren't sullied by cheaters. Nothing has ruined my gaming experiences faster than cheaters - not server issues, optimization, bugs, etc... cheating has single handedly pushed me away from so many online games. RDO on pc is a great example.

the major thing that i think drove this game to insane heights is its compatibility of meme culture. Aside of word of mouth from my friends during last years game awards unveiling i had no clue about the game. Then we got it saw the memes get spammed and spammed and spammed saw more of our friends who didnt have it got it without any coaxing and 6 days later my friends list was buried in 45 people on helldivers 2. Also game is just a breath of fresh air. Good gameplay and gorgeous graphics? lets fucking go

Putting in vehicles doesn't have to break the gameplay at all. The things that can make them work in my opinion is making them loud enough to alert patrols, semi fragile, highly explosive when broken, and long cool down time. They also shouldn't be particularly fast. Not snail slow but you shouldn't be driving a racecar. Something like an over designed dune buggy sounds fun.

I do hope they release a new small suite of strategems for each new battle pass, maybe like 1 in each section or 2. Idk if they will go in this direction, but you could have new (bigger better) ship classes. It could function as a soft progression wipe, meaning you will need to unlock this new ships strategems and upgrades, it would be a good reason to come back to the game on a yearly basis.

sorta, but not necessarily stockpile, maybe save up for something in the current "season" or whatever the player chooses(early gameplay). I understand that they probably want you to spend your earned currencies and not save them, but they could at least tell you theres a cap by making it say "medals: 32/250".. instead of figuring it out the hard way by not constantly checking, and loosing them. In my experience its easy to do that. No hate towards the game, just not something id expect to have a cap. also when you've unlocked everything, its like why play anything challenging if i dont get to keep the rewards? @@GooCrewGaming

I pretty much agree with what the video says about anti-cheat software. Yes, kernel-level anti-cheats raise some eyebrows because they dig deep into your system. But, that's exactly where the sneaky cheats hide out, so if we want to catch them, our anti-cheat tools need to go deep too. I'm not losing sleep over having this anti-cheat on my gaming rig. It's just running Windows, a bunch of games, and it doesn't hold any life-or-death data. But, I did have to chuckle when the point was made that we should be cool with it because big, well-known companies are behind it. Remember the whole Sony rootkit fiasco? Yeah, that's the same Sony we're talking about. It's a bit funny to think that we should just trust them blindly, considering their history. Still, on a personal note, I think the anti-cheat is probably okay and not something to stress over too much. But it's kind of amusing to hear someone vouch for a company that once got caught doing something pretty sketchy with software security.
