When I contemplated this question, the Holy Spirit put this on my heart: "They have known my face, and dwelt in my presence; still they turned away from my glory in their arrogance." Take that as you will. 🙏🏻

I think they sinned with full knowledge, or a much higher level of knowledge. Their sin has damned their natures. Jesus came for us not them. We should count ourselves supremely fortunate that our Lord is so loving, kind and compassionate as to come to rescue us.

God is the Alpha all things that came out from the first are the second ,, and the second can never be the first its impossible ,,, because the first Almighty God is the first all things and he is living truth bears record of himself ,, all Creations came out from God ,,for his purpose ,,,The second or the third can not become the first ,,it is not possible ,,,but the second can rebel against his creator ,,Only because God give Lucifer free choice If God had not give Lucifer free choice then Lucifer could not ever rebelled against God ..God is the Alpha and will always be the first of all thing that are and ever be ,When God created man and placed him in the garden ,, God did not remove all choice from Adam and Eve , He told them not to eat of the tree of Genesis 1:29 King James Version 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.....God is all about Liberty and free choice ,,to all that he has created ,,,to choose to have a free heart and mind to Live to serve God or disobey Just as lucifer...became proud and rebelled ,,,and disobeyed God so did Eve and Adam ,,,yes eve did it first then Adam that is why I typed Eve and Adam,,,

It seems unfathomable that one-third of the Angels would follow the devil considering that they knew God face to face. I believe that it is true, however, it really blows my mind.

Ralph They can regret, but Satan sold them that they could be like God. All the glory and power and that he knew everything about God because he was the light bearer. Just like he sells men and women down here they can be there own gods of there little worlds. They can change there gender, do anything. That’s why God has governments in place. When they go corrupt like China and other countries and America now. The empires fall. All empires have fallen. History repeats. I learned that Jesus can't be your savior unless he's your Lord. I did the same thing you did, got saved then lived like I wasn't. I got serious when I learned that Jesus dying on the cross for our sins does not give us a license to sin. I realized that one day I will stand before God and have to give an account for my life on earth. I want that moment to be a joyful one not a shameful one. Do I still get tempted of course, am I perfect, no only Jesus is perfect. Do I miss the sinful ways and things of the world, no because they are only temporary and not worth risking eternity without Jesus. Do I still willingly sin, no I do not, because I know that the moment I take my last breath on earth, eternity for me will begin and the things of the world will no longer be available to me. So I decided to separate myself from the sinful ways and things of the world even though I am still here on the Earth. Have I ever regretted my choice... not for a moment.
@monsterhuntervideos4446
@monsterhuntervideos4446 Жыл бұрын
@@bonnielewin8520Lordship Salvation is a false Gospel. You are saved 100% by grace, and not by your obedience to Christ as Lord. If you are a believer Christ is you Lord, whether you obey him or not. He is not Lord by you making him Lord and obeying. Hebrews teaches that God disiplines those he loves and accepts as sons when they sin. He doesn't abandon them. If he did he would have abandoned King David when he committed adultery and murder. David was still saved, but severely disciplined on Earth. You are not saved by yeilding to Christ as Lord, you are saved by Christ alone dying and being raised for your sins. Obeying Christ is your sanctification and spiritual growth, which is a life long process. You still will struggle with sin every day, and any progress you make will have it's ups and downs. You may take 3 steps forward, 1 step back, 5 steps forward, 2 steps back, for example. Christ has to be your saviour before you obey him as Lord, because you are saved by faith, apart from works, and salvation happens the moment you believe; works come after. You don't suddenly get unsaved because you went through a season of not obeying like you should. There is still a strong incentive for believers not to sin. I mean just look at how severely people in The Bible, who are saved, get chatised when they sin. Works are very important to God, but they are not a salvation issue.

Another example of their refusal to repent is when the Demon possessed man saw Jesus coming they ran up to him and asked " Are you coming to torment us before the time? Except that the fallen angles did actually repent. You make the mistake of thinking that fallen angels are demons. They are not. Demons are the evil spirits that came from the offspring of the fallen with women. We cannot treat demons as we do people. The only reason we as humans can ever be motivated to repent is because we have a measure of the Holy spirit within - as do all humans. That is why all humans can do good things and think of others. Demons, though, have no Holy Spirit within, so they can never be motivated to truly repent. Without God, all that they have left is negative; there can be no goodness in them. They might have an academic understanding that they have suffered extreme loss, but truly repent? Not possible!

I strongly suspect that is one of the reasons why one third of the angels rebelled, and why demons hate us so much. What's more, we humans received something they never got and that was choice. Angels were born into the servitude of God. Finally, Angels don't get to reproduce or have offspring. So I think some were envious of that aspect of our existence.

I think you meant, "did not give the angels". Angels do not have free will. That is a gift bestowed unto humans only. Lucifer was the only one that had it because God created him with power second only to Him. Power to create other worlds and rule over them, it says. Lucifer convinced the angels that were placed under his command by God, that they are superior to humans, and therefore serving them was a punishment because we continually affront God with our sinful and wicked ways. Lucifer used this resent to deceive them. "Look at me, with power to create worlds. You who are born of fire are commanded to serve these beings made of clay!" Pride. The most destructive of them all.

I have spent most of my 57 years believing Angels couldn't be forgiven because unlike humans they don't fall under the umbrella of Gods Grace because the true Messiah Yeshua came as a human being to die, be raised from the dead and to reign as the God Man. But I do agree that Father God loves all His creation and desires that none perish but all come to repentance and eternal life.

The humans that they influenced to hell don’t get to repent anymore. So how could God allow the fallen angels to go back into heaven or back into His grace, while He turns away from souls in hell. God is and will always remain just.

I think you gave a good explanation Pastor. It made good sense to me. I also think that they chose to sin and rebel against God, knowing full well how good God is, meanwhile the serpent tricked the woman and therefore all mankind became sinful.

If anyone can redeem the fallen angels, it is the Lord. Whether they are willing to repent though, is another matter entirely. Perhaps they have simply gone too far astray. I feel compassion towards them, being so far from the warmth of God must be a horror, but then I remember everything they have done to us humans, how they have dragged us into darkness, and my hope for mercy becomes a cold wish of just and mighty retribution. God will judge.

Angels can’t repent. See Jude 1:6 “And the angels which kept their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains, under darkness, unto the judgement of the great day.” Their operations are limited to darkness, just like Lucifer. They can’t do good, only evil.

@Very interesting; Hi, in the book of Jude, he is speaking of the Watchers, 200 of them. Ya can check their story in the Book of Enoch. There's works going on to have Fallen Angles become born-again Holy Angles before the door closes in Revelations.

@@briangusman5553 Hello, it has been a while since I read that non-canonized (outside of Ethiopian Orthodox) book, but it is nonetheless very interesting, and it would seem to me that the "judgment" referenced in Jude *could* be a judgment of death or destruction, but *could* also be a judgment of leniency, or of mercy...perhaps they are being bound in chains currently because their sin was so grievous, and the potential of those angels for further sin and further damage in this current time is so great that God simply could not allow them to be "free" or to be granted "bail" in any form until the Judgment Day. What are your thoughts on this?

Great question and great answer. It's true that Angels were created in superior knowledge and when they rebelled, they did knowing what they were doing! Therefore since they are forever condemned because they chose to disobey the Lord, they can't repent!

In addition to the things you stated regarding angel's superiority/culpability over us, I speculate it could also be that angels may exist outside of time, itself, which would mean when they turned against God, it was equivalent to a rejection for all time.

I have met both kinds of Angel's. And believe me when I say, even the fallen ones understand who their Father is. Humans are supposed to have a forgiving nature. Forgiveness was the last message of our Lord's Gospel.(before he was crucified) I believe it was the last of the original 10 Commandments. (Coveting is the root of many prayers after all) Nephrim are half human. Eventually we will come to understand, that they are our Brothers and Sisters. The fallen Angel's will need more convincing. Most of them haven't even considered the possibility of Salvation. 🤘😎

In The Book of Enoch--which is generally not recognized as canon--the fallen ones indeed asked Enoch (13.4) to petition the Lord for forgiveness. God's answer (15.2-16.4) was 'No' along with His reasons why. He also told them they should be petitioning for men, not having men petition for them, which was poignant.

The fallen angels knew God's plan for us at the beginning of our creation and they threw a grenade into God's plans and taught mankind wicked and evil things, mating with the daughters of man, angles have no Redeemer as we do, we don't understand or know God's "big picture" but they do, they have no excuse for their actions.
