I was 26 years old when I first got saved and when I first fast in my life… I didn’t have a rulebook, I didn’t follow this law or that law… I just knew I wanted my parents to be saved and to know Jesus Christ also, so I wanted to fast for them… I did a complete fast just water… I did this for almost a week… And my parents were wondering why I wasn’t eating… Because at that time I still was living at home… Around the end of the fast… I was driving my car one day and I can’t explain it but I felt a cool breeze blowing on my face, it wasn’t a hot day… So I didn’t know where that cool breeze was coming from… The windows in my car were also not down… The air conditioner was not on… As I pondered Where The cool breeze was coming from I suddenly heard a small soft voice say the wind blows and you do not know where it goes or comes from… So it is with the Holy Spirit and with that my whole body lit up like a Christmas tree. I felt the presence of the Lord for the first time in my car as I was driving… I had to pull over I was crying… I heard a small voice literally was coming out of my heart saying I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, and I actually said “please stop my heart feels like it’s going to pop”… And then I heard a small soft voice say your parents are going to be saved… And with that the presence was gone. I believe I had this experience because well I guess the Lord knows I need it to be told that I was loved… I won’t go into that. But also I fasted And God honored that fast. 15 years later both my parents received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I am now 64 years old, I have seen many things before my eyes that God has done… God bless

I felt our father when I did my fast. Stayed away from everything, no Internet, tv, etc. I drank water but ate 1 meal a day. My meal was only raw fruits, veggies and a piece of chicken breast. I don’t know how to fast but I did it this way. Total isolation and disconnect from this world. I felt so light and weightless. It was otherworldly. I did the fast because I had these dreams prior telling me what was happening with the world and the transition it was going to take but I was going to be ok. I see the evil in everything. It’s literally EVERYWHERE. Hidden in plain sight. This world of flesh and blood, is ran by the devil. Even religion. I know our father let me do what I wanted to do when I was on the other side of the team because it gave me the wisdom I needed to see all the satanic symbolism and frequencies used to manipulate most people into sinning. I ended up having a relationship right after my fast and strengthened my connection to our father. That relationship was literally a demon inhabiting the man I was with. He is a covert narcissist. I saw his face transform a few times And my sisters cat felt the evil in him. It terrified me. The devil sent him to deter me and he succeeded… I even felt our father warning me about this man. The strongest feeling felt like a hard push in my chest and stomach lol. I can’t really explain it but I know it felt like someone trying to push me away from him the final time he harmed and humiliated me. I needed the narcissist though because he was a valuable lesson. My gut instinct was never wrong because that was our father trying to reach me numerous times. Now I follow it. Stay strong guys and forgive yourself. Forgive and stay away from the devils pawns.

To help others, some advice; Please stop taking coffee and sugars prior to attempting to fast. The withdrawal symptoms could hamper or prevent you to complete your fast. Withdrawal symptoms of especially coffee includes headaches, nauseaness, and moods... thus be clean for about a week before... Blessings to you and your loved ones. Shalom.

I have experienced this. After eating clean and drastically decreasing my sugar intake, fasting became doable. Before I used to eat everything I can including lots of sugary foods/drinks. I used to get headaches. It would make me hate fasting. After cleaning my eating habits, it has helped me to enjoy fasting more. Don’t get me wrong I love to eat, once in a while I used to indulge in sugary foods but that was it because I knew once I started fasting I would have to pay the price with headaches 🤕🥲and didn’t want to go through that again.

I did a fast for one day and a couple hours..let me tell you, I was so irritated and mad because I was craving junk food and I even got mad at God for creating fasting I was mad like what is the point in this.. also during that day of fasting I was gonna break the fast but I felt this evil presence so I just stopped I felt the holy spirit leading me to continue fasting..the longer I fasted the angrier I got and I started to not care what God had to say I just wanted to eat..this pretty much revealed my true feelings for God I only worshiped him when things were going great or when I needed him for something..I had to gain the discipline to be in obedience to God and to worship him even without his blessings. Even tho it was just one day I learned a good lesson from it. Edit: and I still struggle with fasting..if you are struggling with fasting don’t beat yourself Up over it.

Years ago I used to fast.. when in college V8, grapefruit juice... 2 small cans of each and plenty of water. It made me feel great. Just 1 day a week. for a few years I have been doing a different fast on Wed and Fri. No meat, wine, or chocolate. I have actually lost my desire for these things most of the time. Also, there are people who have been a Christian for DECADES and yet they're still baby Christians (because they haven't grown at all), so it's not a term reserved only for the newly saved; It also refers to the un-renewed mind. Besides, I'm not at all into political correctness nor the rational of "this day and age", and on top of that, many of the ones I've known are not merely new, they're truly babies and downright baby-ish in every way, so I will refer to them as such. I do find it amusing that, just like literal physical babies, occasionally, baby Christians also dislike being seen as babies. And just like with physical babies, this handful of people sometimes have a tendency to internally protest saying, "I'm not a baby, I'm a big boy"... which, ironically, is something that only babies say. But I think they should embrace it... it's a sweet and beautiful time. I have a friend who loves referring to herself as a baby Christian, and she's enjoying being a babe in the arms of the Father; That's how she sees it. She intends to enjoy babyhood while it lasts, and then she'll enjoy the next phase as well. It's all a matter of perspective✨

I fast every Sabbath for 25 hours. I read the Bible y pray . The benefits are emense when you pray. I can read in 4 languages now, a marathon runner, y more y more. Yes, fasting conquers many a problem y brings on miracles too. Only a baby whines for 25 hours without food.

Fasting must have a system. You can fast using different methods. You can choose your number of days. Eg, you can choose a fast which only consists of vegetables or water or tea without milk and sugar. Cut out sugar in every way. In the bible gives you an idea of the fasts you can do.

I used to make a point to do this in my life. Sometimes spiritual, sometimes less than. I found this to be so incredibly beneficial. The clarity that you receive is beyond ANY high you'll ever achieve, by any other course. Your body purges itself of any toxins. I can see why it is recommended to cleanse your face, as it purges toxins so heavily.

Prolonged fasting (3+ days) gets you rid of parasites which influence your mind, thus negative thoughts, emotions and behaviours get cleansed. It resets the immune system in the body and brings you into a more calm, happy state. If anyone ever practiced meditation enough, you'd know how many negative thoughts just come into your head out of nowhere, which you know precisely that those didn't come from you. And if you eat a bad diet or too much food and then meditate/pray, you have entire influx of random thoughts bombarding you which you can barely control. But when you fast, your meditatiive mind is almost perfectly clear with a few random thoughts here and there. These are spiritual attachments, gut bacteria, call those demons/satan or whatever and so on trying to acess your mind. They can even mimick your own voice to make you think you think a certain thought which you didn't, especially when they come in dreams. You're doing it for yourself in the first place, not to receive things from god or whatever. These parasites are what severing your connection to god in the first place.

Yes yes yes! Your info is too spirit-oriented for some and they'll reject it. But I did learn about gut bacteria influencing our food cravings. You can accumulate too much candida and such and this will Absolutely play with your mind -- they have a life and they want to keep it, just like all of us. Consequently, I'd get really, really bad chocolate ice cream cravings and I'd literally have to stop what I was doing, head down to the junk food store and buy a gallon. It took a while to fix my system. Not sure i am completely free of sugar and the wrong gut bacteria, rt .. ? ... but i surely do not have to stop everything and buy sweets anymore.

3 days is just a begining. you did need to fast to cleansefrom bacteria, pests and addictions but it's a process. 3 days, then 7, then 21.

@@TheOneanjel yeah, didn't pay attention writting that. 3 days is when immune system begins to restore itself and enter autophagy where it cleanses of old broken cells, but it's not enough really for any remarkable results unless you do it once a month at least or every 2 weeks. I would probably combine it with oil and herb cleansing, following with a fast and strict veggie/fruit diet later.

I remember going without food for extended periods while deeply depressed, and it was always this mental decline that spiralled down to a sort of binge, then a slow return to baseline over a few days. Now, it's this sort of pleasant surrender to God, and I come out feeling refreshed, and really enjoying a simple meal to break fast.
