I think it's crazy how every location is different. Here Antiques Sell immediately at flea markets and such, same with military. I never go home with anything in those regards after a days worth of selling. Meanwhile DVDS and hunting things like knives can sit for weeks on end.

yes but keep your eye on your e bay monthly statement and see how FD-X comes back and re adjusts shipping charges and tag it to your E-bay stamens. has hipped to me many many times. what i am saying read the fine line . it says Fed-x can re adjusts shipping fees and bereave me THEY DO. FYI.....

Hey Pete, I use USPS Flat Rate boxes to ship heavy items, It's a flat shipping fee no matter how heavy, just a tip. Love your videos.

FedEx utilizes USPS for a lot of its home deliveries via contract. That's probably why it's half price.

The FedEx cost listed on eBay is just an estimate! When you look at your bill from eBay it will always be higher than the quoted price normally by at least 20%! If you ship FedEx do it directly through a FedEx account, not through eBay.

Absolutely hate Fed-Ex, both shipping and recieving. Both ways takes an extra 3-4 days over USPS or UPS, on average, and it costs more for everything I have shipped.

I personally hate Fedex they leave packages on your door step without knocking and ringing the door bell. One day I had a package come via Fedex dude drop it at my door and ran back to his truck while I watching through my living room window SMH.

Can someone tell me how to filter for new vids on youtube? Also would any reseller quit a good job they went to college to get, to resell? Everyone wants to be their own boss, I get that. I've been a reseller all my life starting with going hungry at lunchtime in grade school to buy candy bars and sell at a profit. I should be a millionaire at this point in my life but I'm not. I say that because I actually enjoy delayed gratification. I'm old school and not spoiled like most of todays generation. But I'm retired and have a pension and will soon be able to collect social security as well. My husband watches me and thinks he wants to quit his good government job (that he hates) and do the same thing. I'm trying to help him make the decision.

Peter how do you you deal with shipment that go to an APO address . Fed EX doesn't ship to APO addresses. I sell stereo components which is a bulky item. I had an item sell for $35 with $16.99 shipping to Puerto Rico. USPS was charging $48 to ship to the APO when I went to check pricing on FED Ex, they don't ship to APO addresses.

Why over charge on shipping your prices are so cheap and fair and your a decent guy so why not charge correct shipping unless your charging extra for gas to get you to the drop off place

Please don't ship Fedex if you EVER ship to Canada. They charge obsurd brokerage fees to your purchaser. I actually refuse to receive any cross border FedEx unless brokerage is pre-paid . Easily the would charge your buyer $40 on top of a $100 dollar item.

Pretty bad advice in this one (again),buddy. You might want to acquaint yourself with the rules of ebay before you post these videos. Your example of using fedex vs usps will lead to an account suspension if you do it enough times. The fedex service you shipped that vise with IS NOT expedited shipping. If your recommending that viewers list an item as having expedited shipping & then ship it standard (in this case fedex vs USPS) your just giving un-informed advice (again). Pulling the old' switcheroo is not good business. Maybe you think it is, but you should at least inform your viewers of what you are recommending to them & let them decide on their own if they want to risk their account & treat customers like you recommend they do. Cheers!

quality and timing is everything, get your customers the item in the condition promised while uploading shipping info (Tracking number) Yes technique the CL HUNTER is using is not advised. These are tips and user experience and not illegal. You both have valid points @brandonmitchell @rayharrahs Many times, i have received items late due to laziness of the seller and i doubt that happens with the Trading Post. @RayHarrahs your correct to point that out. @Criagslisthunter Pete, Thanks for the video and good luck at your upcoming convention meeting of other resellers mid year. I think you are looking at it wrong, i will list things usps ground and if ground is same price as priority or within a dollar of priority i will send priority then its a bonus to the customer and if its a heavy item i will send it fedex smart post which is a day sooner then usps ground and its usually about 1/2 price of usps ground so it saves money and it gets there a day sooner
