What Is Roblox?
ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet­to­be­dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

It is obvious that companies have the right to decide who gets to use their cars or products, but it is just funny to think that these car brands think they will benefit more from removing their cars from games for kids and teens. I will be honest when I say although it's not real life, driving and having these cars in game puts a positive connotation in people's mind of the brand which one day could result in people being more likely to purchase or invest in the brand for real. Btw even if companies were concerned that the games that legally use their cars/products would feel cheated since games like Greenville can use a brand for free while they have to spend thousands for licenses it would be easy to implement a better system were Greenville and other games could maybe promote the brand for real in return for the use of the brands cars/products. Imo games like Driving Empire aren't even as realistic as Greenville so I don't see why they wouldn't be open to some kind of agreement to either Greenville itself or Roblox. Last thing imma add lol is why is Roblox not just taxing games like Greenville and buying licenses for brands themselves. Roblox might be honestly kind of greedy considering they can't possibly have many expenses whilst allowing their games who have supported them for so long to get D.M.C.A strikes. 😶

i can say that roblox won’t buy any license for car games because even with the large community, it only makes a fraction of their money and they have other industries and games to worry about

It's not Roblox's problem tho. It's the actual game developers and owners problem. Driving Empire has the money to buy licenses cause it's owned by Voldex which is a very big and successful Roblox game studio. Greenville is owned by a couple of normal wage making people. They don't have that kind of money to buy the licenses. It's not that hard to understand.

At this point we are aware that this is gonna happen. Although, it doesn't even bother me as much as Roblox doing nothing about it. I believe it is roblox duty as a host, to purchase licenses for their games.

The car companies should let the games promote their cars to the public, especially children, so they have more advertisement ways, more people would like driving their cars, and they will be more likely to buy the company's cars. When they remove their cars from the games, the whole idea is gone, one of their marketing ways is gone, and they will probably disappoint a lot of people who enjoyed their cars and the og's that had a lot of memories with the cars. R.I.P Ferrari Roblox and other car brands that got removed (found out after I wrote this that multiple people have expressed the same thoughts as me)
