I always fletch 20 logs in first inv, that guarantees loot box, after that I just toss logs for the XP. Thats how I figured it to be done best. You can always guarantee loot while maximizing XP gains. Another method I picked up on is brazier first if its a fresh start to the game, just means I don't have to fletch but 19 logs to guarantee loot. Each kindle gives 25 points, each log gives 10. Doing this method I consistently get 800-1k points if I'm honed in on the game and paying attention. Between 700-800 if i'm semi-afk

I’ll be honest, I initially found your video obnoxious. But man, you can be as obnoxious as you want, because your video is hands down the most valuable WT guide I could find. No one else is sharing these sorts of tips, and they are without question the best practices. Got full Pyro, 5 torches, and 5 gloves - all before even hitting 92 Firemaking. I agree, and that's exactly why I'm such a big proponent of sound on + world hop method. If you hop into a world at 60% left, and chop a full inventory, the frequency of damage is reduced significantly, and with sound on, you can immediately get back into it! idk i can do 2 and a half inventories of logs as for kindling i can only do like one full inv and a fourth

Doing half the amount makes sense, because it takes twice as long. That being said, you can 0-time some of the kindling in addition to doing the burn-only methods to increase your FM xp per hour past the usual amount if you did burn only. That's the key - using your time wisely so you can sneak in some fletching on top of the normal burns. Thanks for watching

hey i noticed that your bruma roots is highlighted what plugin do u use for highlighting non npc units in the game? and I don't mean the bruma logs in your inventory I mean the the blue hull lines around the bruma roots.

"object markers", it should be a default plugin. you then just hold shift and right click whatever you want to highlight the most useful cases are highlighting super far away objects so you can do 1 click and walk forever, like a staircase or ladder or something gl gamer

Exactly! It's a bit of GP, a nice break from the monotony of lighting fires, and if you get lucky & pull a Tome of Fire, you get extra money! Also when you're done, you can trade in your extra torches and gloves for more moneys, but wait for you to be done!

Last tip isnt needed if you keep your knife at the bottom or half way down

It's to reduce your mouses travel distance when time does matter. If you can go from the bottom of your inventory to the bruma root or brazier in a tick, then it's fine but I know a lot of players struggle with speed so it helps them save ticks. That being said, using two knives is also a viable alternative. Thanks for watching dude.

You should be fletching throughout the entire game during downtime to get the most possible Firemaking XP. This will result in a bit of passive fletching XP, and more points overall as well

I have to agree somewhat. I think it's more about how loud it is compared to his regular talking voice. Idk how the actual audio levels look but I have to turn down the volume really low to make the voice change bearable. TLDR: The man has a good speaking voice and the voice changer ruins it

Hey! If you waste time fletching when you could be burning it's less XP. If you instead fletch when you can't do anything else (such as running to the brazier, between a brazier breaking and being unlit, etc) then it's bonus XP & the key to maximizing XP/hr!

Fletching all of your logs is not more firemaking xp. That's just not right. As you said it takes twice as long to do, and does not give double the xp. If you're there for xp (and for some reason you really made it sound like NO ONE is there for xp and only there for points), you can get in a couple of fletches per game running around, but it is more firemaking xp per hour tossing the majority of logs on the brazier. That's why you shouldn't fletch. Some ironmen do wt early while hp is low for an easy 99, and if you don't care about the loot (cause frankly, the loot isn't that steller), then those players would certainly have a faster 99 if they did not fletch everything. And yes, I know world hopping is even faster, but some people like to recline a bit and not do methods like that.

I'm saying that there are plenty of people who do it for xp, in which case they should not fletch everything. They should fletch in their down time, you're right about that. I get the impression this is meant to be satire, but that isn't going to be clear to everyone, and some people will look up "wintertodt tips osrs", find this video, then come away with the wrong idea if all they want is a free 99.

Fletch for items, throw kindling for xp. Loot can be super nice early on an iron, but it's not very exciting if you don't spoon a tome tbh.

This video clearly explains the method to get the absolute highest firemaking XP per hour from Wintertodt, and that is done by fletching during your downtime, followed by examples of downtime to illustrate when you can or should fletch. Even standing to fletch can be optimal, depending on when you started the game. If a player wants to be lazy and just do burn only, that's fine. But I don't expect those players to be watching a video called "advanced tips to master wintertodt"
