My brother took it upon himself to hack a bunch of branches off one of our Mullberry trees, it took 5 years for it to start producing berries again. It does make considerably more berries now, and there are a ton of branches. There are also like 5-6 new trees popping up near it, shot up from the roots of the one that got hacked (Edit: figured this out when I tried to relocate them). I think if they left alternating portions of those trees alone for a few years, they would see a massive resurgence.

Here's a funny and interesting story about Alexander the Great and the precious frankincense... Once when the young prince was offering sacrifice, with would-be royal lavishness he scooped up two whole fistfuls of incense to cast on the altar-fire. This brought down a stinging rebuke on his head from his tutor. "When you've conquered the spice-bearing regions" Leonidas said, with ... elaborate sarcasm... "you can throw away all the incense you like. Till then, don't waste it." Years later, Alexander captured Gaza, the main spice entrepot for the whole Middle East. As always, he sent presents home to his mother and his sister. But this time there was one for Leonidas as well. A consignment of no less than eighteen tons of frankincense and myrrh was delivered to the old man, in remembrance of the hope with which that teacher had inspired his boyhood, together with an admonition... "not to be parsimonious towards the gods".

Jehovah witnesses take the name of the Lord Jehovah in vain. Most people have the spiritual mark of the beast which has to do with worship. For about 2,000 years people have been worshipping the dragon (Satan) and the Roman kingdom catholic (universal) church. The Roman emperors and papacy are the 4th beast kingdom of Daniel and 1st beast of Revelation 13. The sinning Roman church is the woman riding the beast and is the mother of harlots (every sundaykeeping church and those who keep the doctrine of men) and abominations of the earth (Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Bahaism, Atheism, etc.) We should worship God our Father and respect each holy day, each new moon, and each sabbath as written in Colossians 2:16, Isaiah 66:23, Ezekiel 46:3, Numbers 10:10, etc. If they say we cannot buy or sell without the vaccinejab, then that is the mark of the beast. You guys are stupid. Injuring trees make you feel sad but eating plant based dishes and consume meat dont?

so basically you torture the tree every 15 days.

Is it better when we cut trees 🌳 down to produce furniture, flooring, doors, housing, fuel for cooking and heating or doesn't killing millions of trees each year make you feel sentimental?
@lindaseel86333 жыл бұрын
@@superyachtchef The difference is, these trees for building, furniture, etc. are replaced with new saplings that are allowed to grow. The Boswellia Don't seem to be producing new seed or saplings that can be nurtured to maturity.
@superyachtchef3 жыл бұрын
@@lindaseel8633 we haven't needed seeds to grow trees in 700 years, tree grafting from using buds and twigs is a well established method.

@@superyachtchef Yes, but they said it doesn't seem to work for these trees. Too bad, it would be nice.

The trees have been through so much trauma, did anyone else feel sad when he said the resin from injuring them was teardrop shaped? T_T
@user_.b3 жыл бұрын
If it makes you feel better, theyre likely only teardrop shaped because gravity + surface tension, just like human teardrops. The liquid is held together, but the majority of it sits towards the bottom, making a teardrop shape

While I do feel sad for the trees, it has nothing to do with the shape of the resin drops, that's just physics. We don't need to anthropomorphize everything.
