I started with 1 beautiful gsd and within a year had 21. Has anyone mentioned how loving they are? I was never happier or more entertained. I kept Mom and 2 of her babies. The rest were adopted out to loving homes. They are the best!

When I was a small child, we had a German Shepard/Collie mix. I was #11 of 12 kids. Rusty would keep an eye on all of us to stop us from running out in the road(good babysitter). Whenever we played "Tag", though, Rusty kept trying to herd us!

I had to let my dog go last month after 16-1/2 years. The horse racing the dog reminds me of him so much. My mailman and Big Boy, my dog, had this game they played. As soon as the he (the mailman) started to drive away from the mailbox Big Boy would take off running the length of the fence to race him. He always beat the mailman of course and Big Boy would put his paws on top of the fence and wait for him to beep his horn as he drove by him. It was the game they played every weekday. He was 75 pounds of muscle but he was super fast. I miss him and so does my mailman.
