"Exposed to these careers"? Really you need to pre-chew it for them? Doesn't sound pretty emancipated doesn't it? We are all free to choose what we want! If we got prejudices for things it's OUR problem. I had prejudices several years when it comes to coding. What is pretty shitty. I should haave gone earlier into it.

"Coders" are the worst, they take a few weeks of online tutorials in JS and HTML, and have basically no mathematical or theoretical background. If you decided to invade the sciences like this (physics, for instance), they'd be livid. Writing shitty web-tier code that barely works, and using constructs you don't understand, instead of a creating a formal strucutred design and architecture, in a proper language. You are not a programmer, first because you obviously have no clue what you're doing (cd.. cd .. cd code ls... what the hell are you doing going back and forth into dirs), I can see that immediately because you'd rather associate with fashionable brands and use a MacBook than do any serious work. You're a PR pawn, don't pretend otherwise and insult the intellgence of everyone, well, anymore than you already have.

Generously buttered ALCO she teaches introduction to code to young girls that are 15-18 years old, you can’t expect the 2 week program to teach all the mathematical and theoretical things that come with coding, stop hating and start praising cause unlike you, she spends HER free time to teach girls to believe in themselves in a world that is dominated by men when it comes to STEM courses

@@lesliefernandez7634 15-18? That's not too young, actually, by that age, most serious programmers are already extremely capable. Second, if the field is dominated by men, what's the problem? You'd don't see men complaining about psychology, teaching, nursing, biology or any other of a million fields dominated by women. Besides, gender is irrelevant. It is only an issue if you can not see the world through any lens other than that.

@@IvonaFlakus good parodical reply of a sexist, prejudiced feminist to tell someone to shut up because they are a different gender due to which their opinion doesn't matter. I consider it a parody because I'm in a generous mood today. Also, you're kind of a moron, because you inadvertently proved my point. You could tell I was a man because I thought differently, therefore proving men and women are physiologically different. Thanks. Oh, and not just that, my opinion of coders stands regardless of gender, (and years of experience in the field) so I suggest some introspection as I did not mention gender in my original objection. I will "mansplain" whatever I want, you chauvinistic pig, it's my right, you don't have to read or respond.

C'mon man! The more people who come into the industry the more fun it'll be. Most of the time we don't need a very high level of knowledge to do programming. This low barrier to entry is a nice thing!

[X] to doubt. Girls and women are usually taught the most important skills to be amazing programmers: precision, exactness, logical etc.
