I asked God to make my heart more soft to the things that grieve him. (AKA sin) & when you discussed sin and how it affected the world I gained so much clarity on why we should hate sin not just because God said but because it has directly afflicted my life , the life of my loved ones and will afflict my future children & sin is worth our utter hatred ..

The last 5 minutes of this has so much meat it could be a whole two sermons. Those in the old testament look forward. We look backwards. Beautifully said. Thank God for calling pastor Allen to teach. I didn't think I could learn anymore from Genesis and I'm so wrong. These are going to be brought into future conversations, discipleships, and discussions.

Thank God for pastor Nolan. He seems to be one of a few pastors that are not afraid of what the Bible says; YEC vs OEC, sons of god, Nephilim, Etc. It seems many pastors worship just the Bible, and refuse to interpret it along side science causing many young people to think of Christians as naive. Much of the Bible is allegorical, or metaphorical. It’s not meant to be a science book or a journalistic account of history. In fact Jesus often used parables to describe or answer questions.

And it grieved God that so many believers choose to use multiple translations or revert to "original Greek and Hebrew" (which do not exist) and thus making themselves the final authority on what the words really are. God gave us a perfect bible, the Authorized King James bible, so there is no need to re-translate His words to fit a certain narrative. The deception is truly great as Satan's versions have inundated the church. Thank God for His mercy and compassion in this age of grace.

Is not the wickedness distinguished from sin? The wickedness being the result of Genesis 6? Noah & his family were not saved bc they were not sinners, but, rather, bc they were not tainted from the incursion? Surely, God never suggested Noah was sinless. Clearly, I’m confused here!

If God is light and love, then why is evil so appealing? This seems like a design flaw. If I built a device that tried to destroy itself rather than seek salvation, I would be a bad inventor. Then if my inventions felt pain and I chose to destroy all but my favored few, I would be a cruel monster. Especially when you foresaw that this would ultimately be the outcome.

Well you saw the video, right? To sum it all up, God felt bad because you observed the violence and unrighteousness of mankind. And there’s was only _one_ righteous man on Earth at the time. Well, God told the righteous man, Noah, that he was going to flood Earth due to the unrighteousness. So God commanded Noah to build a boat so he could survive with his family. The Bible has many more details about it than I mentioned. But if anyone wants to blame God for the flood, keep in mind that humankind were the culprit for evil because Adam & Eve were the first to sin. Before Jesus came to Earth, you had to be a non-sinful, righteous man to go to Heaven.

Sin is appealing because we are fallen sinners. Sin is no longer appealing when a person comes to saving faith. I find no allure and, in fact, hate sin.

What did the animals and birds and creeping things do to deserve drowning ? And if he was greaved that he created them ..why save 2 of everything (that is imperfect and evil ) to start again? Why not make brand new ones ? It would only have taken 7 days,? Not 400 years it took to build the ark ? And the contamination would be gone ??

Well they deserve to drown just as much as anyone or thing dies. It took around 100years to build and l would think that the purpose of that would be to give them time to repent, just like we see in Nineveh or Isreal. I mean the whole old testament shows God giving His people a chance to turn back toward the path. And unclean animals doesn't translate to imperfect and evil animals. They just weren't used for sacrifices so they didn't need as many. And to start over would have taken much longer than the 100 years it took to build the ark. But more importantly the story of the flood is one of the most widespread and well-known examples of God's power, and the lengths he went to to ensure the preservation of the Messiah's earthly bloodline. So really He did all these things to ensure our salvation.

How come sons of God(Elohim) means heavenly beings? Or they are just the chidren of Seth who are spritualy preserved(v3) who saw the daughters of Cain(unspirtual ) and became corupted as they are. There is no way spirit beings to mixup with Human kind. as we have evidance demons love the body of humans whic only can be possesed and torment. And Nephlims also means mixed up or duality makes them big and strong.

Seth's sons having sex with women would produce what? Babies. Not giants. That's how we know the "sons of God" aren't human males. They have to be other than human to achieve non-human offspring.

The Nephilim were not redeemable. They were/are not fully human, and are a corruption of the Father’s Perfect Creation, and they are an abomination to Him, which is why He commanded that full tribes of them be killed.
