I remember when i was younger i had some girls at my work place who didn't like me for apparently no reason at all. But one day at break there was no place for me to sit to eat but one chair that was at my enemy's table. I took my lunch and pulled out the chair to eat. And God said in my mind as i was seated there was, I prepared a table for you right in the presents of your enemies. But as i was eating. I heard chairs being pushed back one by one, until i had the whole table all by myself. How peaceful and relaxing for me that was.👍😁✌

Point of the table set before the enemies is a metaphorical picture of God's blessing when you have enemies your enemies will see that you are being blessed by God for being obedient to God and it will shine a light on their conduct and behaviour and perhaps make them relent and repent that is the whole purpose of the scripture God says he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked so this blessing, this table, may infuriate your enemies because they want you to be unblessed, cursed and brought low or even dead but they cannot stop the blessings that come from heaven therefore you will have an impenetrable force field of holiness around you. David asked God for something similar in another scripture he says give me a token of your goodness so that they may see you are with me

@Missy Miss strange you've just said that. I agree completely with you. I have been praying for those that hate me without a cause namely my wife. As David said, "If you were my enemy and treated me this way I would bear it but you from my own house". I've prayed for five years but now something has shifted. Her time of God waiting for her repentance has ended just like Jesus said in the book of revelations "I have given her time to repent but now I will cast her on her sick bed and those with her that commit adultery and fornication".

My 10 year old baby just loss father. His sister, family and so call friends have omitted us out of his death knowing HE loved us and was with us to the end. He and I made our peace. G'd did a perfect thing for us. Yet all those that have been our enemies have been rejoicing and causing hateful division. He died knowing his mistakes of allowing them into our lives. He tried to right his wrong. I know now how G'd prepared OUR table in the presence of those enemies. Before he died, G'd blessed OUR family in their presence to see the LOVE we had for one another. Many years ago, as a single mother of a 3 yr old who was sickly, I left a good paying job for a government position as they were more family friendly. I received half the salary I was accustomed to. From the middle of spring to the end of the summer of one hard year I had to make a choice. Do I ride to work in the morning because I’m not feeling up to it and walk home or walk to work in the morning and ride home. The job was over a mile from home and I wasn’t making much money with a child to feed. So to make sure there was food on the table this was my choice. If I walked both ways I knew there would be enough to add to groceries. Needless to say...I didn’t eat lunch at work. I just sat and read books and my bible lunchtime. I could not afford anything to eat outside of breakfast for my daughter and food for a small dinner. I was good for a few months as I knew and enjoyed my walk with Elohim. Then in the last month and a half I started realizing I was hungry lunchtime. I had to pray that much harder as more people started eating at their desk and I had removed myself too often to enjoy the half hour allowed for lunch. I accepted I was hungry and prayed for Yah’s assistance in my plight. In time a co-worker showed up pointing out that she had brought food from home but felt she didn’t want it and therefore bought food outside and then realized she wasn’t hungry, she noticed I wasn’t eating and wondered if I wanted it before she would throw it away. I had a warm store bought meal that first day. I say first as this went on for weeks as I relied on Yah’s will as to whether I ate or not. I marveled at the timing of my plight as it did not occur in the winter and He carried me through with someone bringing me a meal when I was most weak as He was bringing my trial to an end. It was a few years later, when that young lady was leaving that branch of agency we worked in, that she made it clear to me that she “hated” me. She fed me because she enjoyed seeing my suffering. I was baffled. It years later when a brother in faith smiled as I told this story as he pointed out Psalm 23. He excitedly reminded me of how Yah had “prepared a table” not only in the “presence of my enemy” but served by her. I lit up as I finally understood our Elohim’s love. You see...where she went to was a branch of the agency in her home town where she violated her position and was escorted out in handcuffs as one of the first to receive a prison sentence in the younger Bush administration for crimes committed against the public’s security using the agency’s design for profit. As my faith was strengthened, her fall was being designed. HalleluYah! What a mighty Elohim we serve.

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies” - that verse brings to mind the “Last Supper” - in the unseen heavenly world surely Satan and his dominion were very much in tune with every step that Jesus took. That Last Supper was a victory celebration of sorts - Jesus knew that in a short time He would execute the final steps of His plan to redeem those who believe in Him. I believe that particular verse poetically states that the will of God will be done even in the face of constant opposition from Satan and his dominion - and that we should have peace accordingly.

God shows them who mock me that God cannot be locked,you will reap what you sow.... mocking me is mocking God! for greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world....so His favor surrounds me at the biggest table with the best chair or the smallest round table and noticable chair and plenty of hand shakes....for someone like me who Jesus made an example of His glory out of my life.... This verse reminds me of being invited to a wedding or an event where many people who look down on you and think the worst of you will be in attendance. So, assuming yourself to be so unimportant to the host that you look for your table at the back and then the host finds you and leads you past all your enemies to the table at the top.

Thank you so much for what you said. I am black & I hold myself to a high standard. Because of my mom. No matter where I go, to be frank with you, I just want to be left alone. More than 20 years ago, I was in the military & my mom (who was also in the military, but was stationed state side) actually encouraged me to go overseas. And I have regretted it because there were these black girls that went around spreading rumors about me. It got so bad that the rumors took on a life of its own. There was this one black female who did not like me. She worked in the hospital's clinic and since I am a female she had to be in the room. The doctor reads my medical record& he felt like he needed to protect me. Apparently, my record was a bit disarrayed & he asked her to clean it up. You know what that black female did? She not only "fixed" it up, she went around telling her people what she read. That is SO ILLEGAL! Till this day, I regret that I did not report her. Because of that experience & a whole bunch of other stuff. I refused to go too anything & talk to anymore black females except for my friend who known what was going on, that dealt with that hospital. To this day, there are other black females, those monsters that still spread rumors about me because I do not want to deal with there crap or there lifestyles or anything that they just happen to attract. How do I deal with my anger even though it has been more than 20 years dealing with things that I not even want to remember. I read my Bible & I listen to spiritual videos, like yours, & I have spiritual books as well. Again, Thank You so much!

I think God refers to the covenant table, the table in the Tabernacle with bread and wine. The relationship 1stly.. feasting with God in a spiritual way of feeding, 2ndly His covenant is oath concerning his protection, provision, healing, deliverance and eternal life and 3rdly when Jesus prepared the table with his disciples, his enemy Judas about to betray Him took bread and wine that in the end symbolises the Word and the Blood of Jesus being Witness against him in the Court of Heaven. Yes, the Blood of Jesus is greater than that of Abel, 4thly in the presence of my enemy also means, that conviction brings the enemy to repentance..... it's always about His covenant as He is always mindful of His covenant towards us..... Melchizedek also met Abraham after the defeat of his enemies with bread and wine, God said I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you, your enemies shall be my enemies.
