Let's examine the Christianity of what he's saying, section by section. 1)Between 2:00 and 2:28 he talks about men being able to live long and happy on their own compared to women. False. The bible's recommendation that some can live satisfactorily on their own without the opposite sex is not gender-specific in so both men and women can- if it was otherwise, God, who is all knowingand loves us, would have made this known to us in his scripture through his disciples. [See 1 Cor7: 7-8]

But this was about men not girls, plus we're women not girls. Also, I'm appreciative of all the points raised, it is something I've observed in my 34 years of life and even resigned to the idea of marriage because most men are looking for an unrealistic woman to excite them and to marry that's why most of marriages don't work. When you're a woman who's willing to build with them, they say you're desperate, you're rude or not wife material. Also dating the men between 35 and 40 you realize how emotionally weak they're and very immature unfortunately Also set in their ways. They insult us and call us old and we've hit the wall. They go on to date younger women who also eventually exceed them in maturity and they stay with them as long as they look young and appealing. I would have wanted to get married in my twenties but now in my thirties I don't have that desire anymore. The emotional damage and the waiting has taken away any desires for marriage because honestly I don't want to live a miserable life with an immature man. Most of them are immature and don't want any help from women they want to be the hero and to be worshipped.

Let's examine the Christianity of what he's saying, section by section 3) from 9:19- 10:30 , he says that any single men over 30 is looking for a girl that does not exist; and goes on to say that the longer they take to choose a spouse, the greater the chance that they will miss it. I am not sure what biblical principle is being applied here to these statements but I haven't found any. Whatever it is, it will be good if he shared it so that we will know that what he is saying is truth, especially since speaking to young impressionable minds. However, as for me, I would believe the opposite- one who has great faith in God can ask for something - even a woman - from God and where others say it is impossible for such a woman to exist, God could create/direct her to become that way and direct the man what to do to come her way. Are we not serving a God of impossibilities. Did Abraham not wait almost 100 years for his miracle? I think we should let God decide for each person how long they should wait - even after 40 years of age - may still be fine with God and it doesn't reduce the person's chances since they are only looking for one wife. And if no one else but that one wants them then they would have succeeded even waiting till 50. Abraham was waiting for only 1 Isaac and his chances weren't reduced by the years.
@michelleadomaadanso19805 жыл бұрын
osase linked I believe he mentioned that he was just sharing his opinion. He didn’t imply that it’s biblical. An instance in the Bible is where Paul encouraged Christians to remain single for the rest of their lives so that they can devote more time to serving God and have less distractions. He made it clear that it was his personal opinion.

I agree with most of what the man of God says but i feel like he is mounting unnecessary pressure on these guys and its not fair. Life is not a straight jacket and just because he was fortunate to get his acts together early in life and got married doesn't mean it happens so for every man. Most of them don't even have a job at 35 in that country and you are presuring them to goan marry, will u pay the bride price for them? See the look on their faces na haba have a heart.
