Hi! I'm looking to buy a time lapse camera for an experiment where I need to film the roots of a plant in complete darkness. Right now I am using a common security camera with infrared lights incorporated that do not affect the growth of the roots BUT I really want something more similar to the ATLI or Brinno cams. Do you have any recommendation?

I didn't get a chance to try the Brinno cams, so it's hard for me to compare, however, the worldwide expert on plant timelapse, Chris R. Field (www.biolapse.com/) is a huge fan of ATLI, and uses about 14 of them in his studio, so that's quite an endorsement for me. Also, I must say that at least from the videos on the Brinno website, it seems that the quality of the ATLI is better, and it seems that Brinno are more focused on construction and outdoors, where ATLI is much more tailored to shooting plants and roots. It cannot shoot in complete darkness, but it can turn on a quick "flash" just for the photo, and keep it dark for the rest of the time.

Can it be used in the field where there is no internet but only a router hotspot?

You actually don't need internet at all after you launched it (and even recommended to turn off wifi to save battery). With wifi constantly enabled, it holds around 40 hours or so, without it - 5+ days easily.

Did you ever figure it out? I never actually tried to connect 2 Alti at the same time, but both the instructions and some of the content I've seen indicated it's possible.

yeah, exposure time and ISO can be selected, it basically has a fully manual mode

Hi, a couple of months ago you made a video showing "How to create any image... using Midjourney". Since Midjourney is no longer free would you be able to make a video using a free AI art generator to make photorealistic bodybuilder/superhero characters using an image of your own face. There are a lot of viral meme videos getting millions of views showing the end results such as, "Harry Spotter - The boy who lifts", "Harry Squatter's Magical Gym" or "Lord of the Gyms". But, there are no videos on how to actually make art like this using a currently free AI generator that actually creates a chiselled version of a person's face AND keeps the face still looking like the same person (as opposed to making it unrecognizable I.e. a different person). If you made a video like this it could get you millions of views. What do you think?😊

Well, it's much easier to do it on Harry Potter, or on another famous image that the model has been heavily trained on... much harder on a face that the model never seen. But stay tuned, I have an addition to this video coming soon that should help you achieve that easily!

@@hml The AI that I used allowed a person to upload a reference picture so I used a face only front facing photo but after the AI did its "magic" the face had been completely changed where it barely resembled the original photo.
