If Darkshine's strength is above Kabuto's, Darkshine should be relative to Gouketsu in terms of power, but you have to remember that even Darkshine cant harm himself, he's the total opposite of a glass cannon, while Gouketsu does have superior martial arts, I dont think he could do much substantial damage to Darkshine.

Darkshine is just a whole heck of a lot stronger. He doesn't have the martial skills of Gouketsu, but... Gouketsu could hit him all night long and Darkshine would sustain next to no damage. Eventually Darkshine would use offensive techniques so strong that, if landed, would simply pull off the win.

I don't remember the fight in the manga that well, but if it's anything like the one in the webcomic, Goketsu doesn't have a way to win. Even the Garou that faced Darkshine barely grazed him. The only reason Darkshine lost is because of his weak mental state..He got terrified by Garou and simply quit.. That's how i remember it...

Webcomics Darkshine have better feats and would put him above his manga counterpart , However , when i scale characters i don't do crossovers since many things has changed , characters that got weaker and others that got stronger , and as i've said in the Video , if we don't take genos's statement to be valid , the only way i see Darkshine loosing is his Mental State

@@Beastly_Genius if someone is hit u hard enough to make u spit then u did feel that u took some type of damage. he wouldnt voluntarily spit, which means garou had enough force to make darkshines body actually have a reaction to his hit. Yes he may not have been able to really break skin or injury him badly, but if someone keeps hitting u with enough for darkshine to do that, then it will build up and eventually become severe. imo atleast, he hasnt shown any inhuman durability abilities like not being able to handle acid on his skin, so i feel like internal damage can still build up if enough force is there to start a reaction.

Gouketsu vs Superalloy Darkshine? I've never thought of something like this... To be honest, I don't know who would win, but sounds interesting.

Darkshine has top durability in the series, I would say only behind Platinum S, the two biggest centipedes, Cosmic Garou and Boros (maybe including Rover but that's debatable), but we saw Gouketsu with the touch of a fist blowing a big chunk of the stadium away and he stated he was a High Dragon level threat, he defeated a high Demon level Genos, almost dragon level, in OPM fashion, and had basically the same level of martial art dexterity as Garou at the beginning of the arc, and speed similar to Sonic at 60% or so. However, if Darkshine defeated Kabuto he's got great punching power too, but it would be an awful matchup because he's pretty slow and be hard to land even a single punch. They're pretty even, but I would say Darkshine would win if he manages to resist and survive long enough until Gouketsu tires up, kind of what Zombieman does.

@@BKBK-yo1zz you've got a point there but keep in mind that that was a barely monsterized Garou and he was half-fainted too, and Garou and Suiryu were pretty similar in stats when Garou was still human, and Gouketsu beat the shit out of Suiryu and he was WAAAAAY faster than Suiryu, he appeared behind his back unnoticed despite his size, that's an insane speed. Darkshine couldn't have rivaled that speed at all.

@@KaJe11 suiryu beat a monsterized choze, choze as a human was implied that he would beat lightning max pretty easily, putting him comfortably in high A-Class. Choze then became monsterized, giving him a power boost to which we can estimate was around high demon level, imo probably top 5 strongest demons, especially with how other martial artistis grew when monsterized like bakuzan becoming a dragon, despite being a low dragon lol. Human garou depending when u grab him is very much around this level, slightly higher most likely. So it isnt crazy to say that gouketsus speed is quite outrageous for his size. IMO gouketsu wins if he can damage darkshine enough to scare him before tiring out, but he definitely has speed over darkshine atleast, and most likely strength. Darkshines durability is just crazy though

@@breakingbread9313 Bug God was smacking Garou around. Bug God then proceeded to enter a new form, becoming significantly stronger, and Darkshine onetapped him with essentially no power. The evolution that Garou went through during his fight with Orochi was monumentous. Sleeping Garou post-Orochi oneshot Bristle Armour Puri-Puri Prisoner, but couldn't even scratch Darkshine. Garou had to further evolve to scare Darkshine into mentally breaking, yet he still couldn't break through is durability.

I think Gouketsu vs Darkshine would be a close fight. I think it's kinda ridiculous to think that Gouketsu could one shot Carnage Kabuto. Genos never even got to fight Kabuto's Ashura form. In my opinion, I think fifteen minutes is actually decently long for a fight in OPM since all the characters move so fast. Looking back at it now, I really wish they didn't kill Gouketsu off. Him and Groribas had potential. I wonder; who would win in a fight between Groribas and Vomited Fuhrer Ugly? 🤔

Saitama stated he didn't know if Gouketsu was strong because to him he was as weak as any other monster he fought. Due to this we can pretty conclusively discount Genos' claims, leaving a fairly even matchup with the edge going to Gouketsu

The only reason he lost against garou is because of superior martial arts and ofc plot armor which allowed him to overcome darkshine and curbstomp him, but he did no damage to his skin apart from a small nosebleed, yall would seriously downplay someone like darkshine who proved himself through feats despite his low self esteem, meanwhile overrate a featless monster who only fought weakass martial artists, the weakest s class martial, the weakest dragon level threat ever and saitama.

You also have to remember that when Genos encountered Gouketsu, he was heavily injured from his previous fights, and likely made some of his statements out of fear and despiration. When you're hopeless, you can make some pretty exaggerated statements.

meteoric burst boros and monster garou can go either way but usually in favor of boros, speed wise garou comes out on top being 200x mftl, since i havent seen that much speed scaling from boros but being able to vaporize alien metal with his speed is pretty insane, boros takes raw striking power, blasting saitama to the moon at light speed and a hit like that would obliterate garou in any form besides cosmic. garou being the martial artist he is and having speed could dodge boros' attackes even if he was to land a critical blow it wouldnt do much to boros being that hes recovered from consecutive normal punches and ive heard some ppl even argue that if boros wasnt using star roaring cannon he couldve survived a serious punch too but thats not really creditable, boros could win by using star roaring cannon since garou hasnt shown in monster form hes able to tank planetary attackes (some scale roaring cannon to star level) but i go with planetary as stated while using the move. Either garou outlasts boros via boros losing his life force (stamina) and destroys him, or boros wins via star roaring cannon or managing a critical blow to garou. cosmic garou blitz and one taps meteoric burst form boros

However, it does not mean that CSRC does not have enough power to destroy a star. Suppose I have enough power to destroy your house, If I said that I am going to destroy your room with my all power, would it mean that I cannot destroy your entire house? No, of course. Boros just said something that he can do. Databook: To counter Boros's ultimate "Collapsing *Star* Roaring Cannon," which is formidable enough to destroy a *Star* Saitama resorts to his "Serious Punch" ... As you can see here, given the name of it, translating the part where it tells the power of it as star is the most convenient way.

I think Darkshine would win…. It would be a good fight tho. But Darkshine weakness is his mind. As Golden S even said he’s being a coward after receiving minimum damage. He fought Garou and forced him to evolve, delt the major blow PyschoOrochi, fought ENW, Vomitted Fuhrer Ugly, Black S and Golden S and after all that his mind was broken not his body. With that being said I don’t think Gouketsu would evolve like Garou did to save him. The damage he receives from Darkshine would actually effect him and be permanent…. I hope Darkshine makes a comeback like Puri did. Using Golden S as motivation to become bulkier and shinier… just like he worked hard and went from a scrawny kid to one of the physically strongest S class heroes, this time he’ll work on his mental fortitude. Having the mindset to protect instead of seeking a thrill. It would be awesome to see him make a comeback.

@@YacineScales One thing to consider is that Darkshine only gave up against Garou after witnessing his busted growth mechanic; Garou had closed the massive gap in strength and actually surpassed him in that short battle. Also Garou has the insane ability to just resist death, so unless Goketsu has equal or similar mechanics paired with a large gap in strength then he gets whittled down by Darkshine. Don't forget that Darkshine was tanking hits from water stream and whirlwind combined with only minimal damage. Those are the pinnacle of martial arts techniques as we know in the One Punch universe. Also Genos has no reason to suggest the entirety of the S class taking on Kabuto because it's just a simulation. There were no stakes, Genos was only interested in advancing his power.

I think goketsu is strongest based in his defense. Saitama has the same amount the strength when he use his first punch. The sane who killed deep sea. And the giant. Now goketsu was one shoted. But the diference is how. For example most of demon and dragons levels just explode gokestu was tear apart. So even if seems werid that proves his durabilty. His head just go away but was ( mostly) intact beside most of the monster. This proves goketsu durability. Remember the same punch who literally make kaubuto explode. Only blow his head

I think Darkshine takes this mid to high diff. I just think we have showcasings for darkshine much more consistent in him being powerful enough and more importantly, durable enough to take it with relatively okay difficulty. Gouketsu as a martial artist I don't think was ever eluded to being anywhere near the level of Bang or Garou. So I don't believe that plays a huge role in this match up. Darkshine has feats of dealing with martial arts, it's just that Garou was so ferocious and such a genius of combat, that he overwhelmed him, not to mention Darkshine simply quit, not exactly defeated in a normal sense. Things like that aren't asumed for 1v1 matchups, as giving up is never a characteristic that is attributed to a bloodlusted individual. Now, Darkshine has feats of straight up TANKING ENW's highpressure beams. Those were basically cutting through everyone and everything else, with the exceptions of obviously characters like awakened Garou. These were highly concentrated beams meant for cutting through stuff performed by a high dragon cadre. Not only that, but Darkshine ONE SHOT Evil Natural Water. Unless we're going to say Gouketsu somehow does the same thing, I think Darkshine takes strength easy money. His strength feats just don't align with the type of ability to one shot another cadre like that, given that Suryuu even took several blows, though not at 100% power. In comparison though, Deep sea king should have relative durability to Suryuu and Darkshine gently touches the DSK and disintegrates him. Gouketsu put some power into his shots and Suryuu absorbed several shots. Gouketsu has no tangible durability feats as Suiryuu would do nothing to darkshine all the same, but a single normal punch from Saitama obliterated him the same way it did to Bakuzan. NOW, Overgrown Rover actually took one of Saitama's normal punches with no visible damage. So unless we're assuming Overgrown Rover's durability is entire levels above that of Darkshine's this would easily go to Darkshine as well. Which we can actually somewhat give an estimation to thankfully. So, no damage was taken from post Bug God Garou by Rover, but he was able to move him around and give him something that he could feel. Although this is post Bug God Garou, we cannot assume he's much more powerful than Bug God at this point, since not only did he get the shit broken off him by Bug God just previously, Bug God also has another form more powerful than the one that Garou faced AND Garou couldn't even put a dent in Bug God in just his previous state. So it's safe to assume Garou might just be around the same level as Bug God or maybe a tiny bit stronger here. Bug God got wrecked by Darkshine. To the point it's not even funny. Darkshine stood there and received no damage, then proceeded to one tap him into dust. So it's a fair assumption I think, that Darkshine would be able to do much more damage to Overgrown Rover than what Garou could and at least the same durability as Rover, if not even more so. Against Bang and Bomb, although they didn't outright defeat Rover, they schooled him and made him respect them to the point where Rover was willing to listen to their commands. Kinda similar to Saitama, except I think he was just straight up terrified of him lol. Anyway, Bang actually "beat" Darkshine in a sparring match, however it's like when you win in a martial arts tournament based on points, not by inflicting damage upon someone. Darkshine was totally unschathed and able to continue when they called it a day. Btw, this same Bang also has feats of damaging and keeping up with Pre awakened Garou, one that was close to the same level that went up against FF and Platinum S, and perhaps even more so as he didn't possess any mental restrictions, using a really dangerous and powerful technique against Bang. Bang would've been holding back the same way against Garou as he did against Darkshine, maybe even more so. Although it was a composite feat and he wasn't holding back much, Bang also damaged Elder Centipede btw... Yet, He couldn't even scratch Darkshine. That's the crazy durability we're talking about. Also, any feat of "defeat" during the MA arc for Darkshine came from him giving up essentially. He only suffers a minimal amount of damage from Vomit FU, whose acid could straight up disintegrate dragon level monsters and people (from the council of swordsmen). Even Golden S remarks that it's disgraceful he gave up after receiving so little damage to his body. With Darkshine's durability being so high end, him one shotting literal cadres that don't even have solid forms, him keeping up with people who he's kept up with, then looking at Gouketsu and how he went out, as well as the lack of anything impressive against someone genuinely really powerful, I'm gonna have to say Darkshine is the clear winner here. I also have to believe Carnage mode Kabuto vs Gouketsu would be quite close. Like, Carnage mode is supposed to be a multiplier to his already insane base form, in which he was able to BREATH away Genos's incineration canon, that which wouldn't have received such a massive upgrade between G4 and start of series, as they were already really powerful to begin with. And so, his Carnage mode is a lot stronger than his base, and that to me spells high dragon the likes of Gouketsu type of power. Not only that, there's a direct comparison we can make. In the audio book, Genos fought against his previous opponents in a simulation. This is G4 Genos btw. He blitzed through Mosquito girl and the DSK. When it came to Kabuto, in base form, he got one shotted again. Sound familiar? Yeah, Gouketsu did this. However, in Gouketsu's case it was an ambush attack, and Genos was already highly damaged in battle before that. It's implied Kabuto can do this to G4 Genos at any point and at any time, and that is only his base form. Therefore... Gouketsu would have an incredibly difficult time with him, and in my opinion, Carnage mode would probably end up winning that one. I know this is not a for sure way to scale them but, Kabuto still has the more impressive feats. And so, we arrive at Kabuto vs Darkshine. Although it did take Darkshine 15 minutes to kill Kabuto, he did win the battle and he did that with still no damage to him what so ever. I'd consider that a low-mid diff. So we have Kabuto, someone who should be more than competitive with Gouketsu, killed by Darkshine who didn't even take damage. The only reason Darkshine would maybe have a tiny bit of a harder time with Gouketsu would be due to his martial arts, which Kabuto doesn't have. But that's conjecture, Gouketsu might even be easier for him in reality. So, based on feats and without stretching assumptions for light years on end, based on the characters presented to us as they are, I don't believe Gouketsu has much of a chance against Darkshine at all. Garou outmaneuvered Darkshine with martial arts since he's a lot smaller and can slip away and redirect strikes. Gouketsu is so big that he has no such 'subtlty' in his moves, so if he isn't as fast as that version of Garou, Darkshine can just break his leg or something the second Gouketsu tries to hit him. That's an even trickier question since Genos partially compared his speed to Awakened Cockroach, or even faster, and Gouketsu again playing with Bakuzan, who's both a Dragon and a martial artist. If you say he's about as fast as monsterized Hellfire and Gale when he's serious, he *might* pull it off, but that'd also put the comparison of Hellfire and Gale to Garou which is another can of worms. All this is just for mentally crushing Darkshine, there's still the question of if Gouketsu can actually hurt him. Personally I think Gouketsu is just a better overall combatant but it's just a weird matchup.

Genos tends to overrate alot, ofc not with saitama, but when he gets overwhelmed in general he THINKS of saitama overwhelming strenght correlating it to the enemy, and as we know saitama blitzed gouketsu so is already wrong on his own, so i think the win goes to darkshine and mid diff too, even tho gouketsu was scaled as the second strongest monster golden sperm is already stronger than that counting that is a half of platinum sperm, and platinum sperm was on par with awakened garou, so is already a crazy feat, and we know that awakened garou speed blitzes all the monsters except elder centipede (for me, speed blitzed orochi too, since WEAKENED garou was actually able to deflect most of orochi attacks, so the only reason he doesn’t speed blitzes elder centipede is for his durability) so darkshine wins easily imo

I have watched all of your videos but this one was the only one I disagreed with. Gouketsu was regarded as one of the strongest monsters by Gyoro Gyoro. Even Orochi respected him. Gyoro Gyoro added that if multiple heroes team up they might cause a broken limb to Gouketsu. His casual punch blew a portion of the stadium and part of the city with it. I doubt Gouketsu would fall as easily as Darkshine did against golden s.

@@DefNotHacks Stats for Kaido (I'm not a full-on diehard One Piece fan, just know about it from shorts and KZbin): Strength: Monstrous to be simple with you, very high natural strength from his Oni lineage and is further boosted by his Mythical Zoan DF (Devil Fruit) Speed: Very, very fast as a (keep in mind) _drunken, non-serious_ Kaido speedblitzed and fodderized a post-WCI Luffy so hard to the point he rendered his FS (Future Sight, or Advanced Observation (ACoO)) useless, and keep in mind this was an enraged post-WCI Luffy who was using G4 in tandem with the same FS that got rendered useless, the same Luffy who we can conclude was relative to Katakuri (A YC (Yonko Commander) of the Big Mom Pirates) Durability: Possesses the title of the "World's Strongest Creature" and truly lives up to it, seeing as he already has very good natural stats from his Oni lineage, further boosted by his Mythical Zoan DF. @@zackblockbuster4782 He didn't know anything about Boros other than Saitama was kind of excited about him. The ship is valid argument. But I wouldn't say Gouketsu scales above the ship though you could make a case for him being above the Tatsumaki at the time. Genos saw her redirect the shells from the ship and thought she wasn't going to be enough to face Gouketsu alone.
