Scottie has won 8 of his last 48 events. Tiger had a stretch where he won 33 times in 100 starts. Scottie needs to win 26 more times in his next 52 starts to beat that. To say we’ve never seen golf like this is wild. I get you’re newer to the sport, but gotta do better with the data if you gonna say it.

Grant was an altar boy amongst frat boys with Good Good. His “awwwshucks” demeanor meant he was always going to be the foil, not the feature player of that crew. He appeals to a different core audience, and certainly to a wider demographic. I’m absolutely positive that an agent, or a very savvy businessperson in the very least, broke down the potential value and reach of his individual brand for him before he left good good, because that gig was a helluva bird in the hand. And Grant made a very good bet on himself - his Q score is off the charts. Brands are dying to be associated with him.

Scottie playing on a level we’ve never seen before….? Um, Tiger?
@1870dav10 ай бұрын
Yep. Tiger was Scottie before Scottie could even form a sentence but he could actually make putts.
@1870dav10 ай бұрын
He'd have to play at this level for another 15 years to be Phil. Tiger is unotuchable. By age 28 (Scottie will be 28 in 3 months), Tiger had 4 wins and 8 majors. That's insane. If Scotty wins 7 more majors the rest of his career, he'll go down as a top 5 ish player all time.@@daltonmckinney4831

Exactly.. I believe there was this golfer named Tiger Woods.. maybe Nate has heard of him😏 there was a time when you thought he was going to win every tournament he played in. Oh yeah.. and he won all 4 majors in a row. 3 in one year and the Masters the following year. Yeah.. that guy was pretty good.

Isn't it hard to be open and honest about some subjects when your sponsored by 2 different brands in one video? For example, what's your take on GG clothing costing more than brands like Under Armor or Calvin Klein.... ? Do you really think the quality of their product justifies being more expensive than mainstream brands? Grant is doing really well right now, not because of anything different he's doing but because the algorithm is starting to be more focused on authenticity and authentic content... GG's "how many ideas can we scrape with this wheel or tee box or this challenge" type approach won't last forever and the views are dropping as a result. BDS has a similar issue yet is somewhat protected by their larger than life characters and amazing chemistry - something which seems to be lacking in most of the recent GG videos (would mention Garrett and Brad on the GM golf channel, they've been crushing it together in fairness though) but that's 2 people out of a much larger team.
@brendonhowe215810 ай бұрын
Clothing pricing doesn't require transparency though? If you don't think the price is justified then don't buy it. It's a free market. Buy under armor if the price to quality meets your needs. Also comparing the economies of scale of under armor with good good is pretty disingenuous. There is no way their moqs are even close to what under armor is doing.

Hasn’t Grant said he wanted to be closer to his dad in Florida? Between that and getting married you would figure his travel is scaled differently and it’s more flexible to travel on his schedule than be on demand of Good Good’s….
@EliteThrowsCoaching10 ай бұрын
This. This is the answer. His dad is older. He was getting married. Family comes first. The work one week of filming, take three weeks off was starting to change in Good Good. You can see it right after he left. Massive trips, bus tour, etc. Wasn’t going to work with his new lifestyle. People read too much into it.

There were a lot of people that put Grant down when he left Good Good. It's clear he left for the reasons he stated from the beginning... He wanted to be able to create these types of videos and have total creative control of his content and brand. He would not have the time or control for all of that being tied to Good Good.

Wasn’t the Good Good Callaway deal one of the main reasons? Nice to see Grant doing well, but I wouldn’t say he’s doing anything that the other KZbin golfers aren’t already doing - Rick has done Junior golfer collabs already, and all the challenges with Micah and the Bryan Bros aren’t new. No shade, just saying it how it is.
@johnmartin374910 ай бұрын
Ya, I wouldn’t call him a solo channel, most of his videos are collabs, Rick in my opinion is still one of the only solo channels
@D_Man_91310 ай бұрын
That’s what Grant does. He piggy backs on other people’s concepts and for some reason, people applaud him for it. To me, his channel is only watchable if he has a good guest or cool group with him. Alone, he is a wet towel. He can’t carry and audience in a solo video like Rick, Garrett, and even Luke. To me.
