Honestly, I have yet to see someone who has perfectly nailed their personal brand as a designer. The only person who truly stands out to me is Aaron Draplin. PB will always be a pain point for me.

Hi Philip. What if you build an amazing personal brand, everything is great. But you don’t have a portfolio cuz you a starter? Can you still ask premium prices?

Interesting but confusing, Does this mean that I need a content creator to be visible? I create content for clients and for fun, but not for socials, I dont wanna share my knowledge like that, I just wanna work

Sadly, yes, showing up on social media is important for visibility. You don’t have to share your own original content, you could also just share “curated“ content, that is content created by others. All you have to do is comment on what you thought of it, and possibly ask a question that could create interest in the comment section by others. This makes you visible and therefore raises their awareness of your existence!
