Why Great Circle Is The Shortest Flight Path 🤔

Why great circle is always the shortest flight path and why most of the air routes i.e ATS routes are great circle route/track , i have tried to explain this concept in a very simple way and by the way, the way i have explained is not available in any book, so it’s totally based upon my understanding and observation...but i hope you got my point...Thanks 👋🏻

As per my knowledge iska koi geographical reason nahi hai...but you can prove it mathematically because its a concept in circle chapter and its proven...but again...it’s not that simple as it sounds because...earth is not a perfect circle...you have to consider and assume lot of things before applying this circle concept...Thanks

In my opinion..NO...not this year at least... but keep an eye on their website and be prepared from your side...because indigo is a massive airline...if everything goes fine...i mean if corona ends within next few months or so...then it won’t take much time to clear backlog and delays....Thanks Thanks

Bro...our main task is to find the shortest route...and shortest point can’t be determined individually...by great circle or small circle...you have to do comparison as well.. Haan aap is case main shortest distance ko minor arc bol sakte ho..i mean agar kisi bhi circle main two points ko individually consider karo ( be it small or great )...BUT same points ke bich...sabse shortest distance hamesha great circle hi hoga..in other words....ek aisa plane jo two points and earth ke center se pass ho....jaisa maine animation ke through bataya hai.. Thanks

- NO...if you are planning for spicejet and air asia program... - YES...if you planning for indigo....because engineering graduates ko relaxation diya jata hai...if you have scored minimum 51% in your degree...then 12th physics and maths ka marks matter nahi karta... Thanks
