Such gorgeous cards. You make it look easy, but that's because you're so talented. I would say one of my biggest problem after I white emboss (I learned from you), is seeing WHERE to start painting since everything is white on white. You're a patient and wonderful teacher. No Drama...LOL

@lostinpaper4 ай бұрын
I hear you Kylie, but I have found there is always a point when colouring with watercolours that the design can look TERRIBLE, but let it dry and come back to it, keep going with either more paints or coloured pencils and I find that it turns out just fine lol. Hope you have fun colouring!

Love this! I've done the first but want to try 2 and 3 soon. Another technique to try is using layer stamps, inks and spritzing them.
@lostinpaper4 ай бұрын
Yes, I love that technique too, but mostly used to use it red rubber style stamps, they always had better results. I must try it, thanks Barbara!
@sjodoin14744 ай бұрын
Can’t pick just one technique. As a watercolour beginner, to me all 3 techniques seem easy to master and have a reasonable likelihood of good results. Your results are stunning today! Beautiful cards as usual ❤

Thank you - I avoid my brushes and paint. I’ve written these methods down in my journal (my go to on days when I don’t feel inspired). Love using supplies that are getting dusty.

What a great idea to have a journal for ideas, I find that if I start looking on the internet for inspiration I can sometimes pop my head up hours later, with no cards made lol.

I love how u r always teaching us different techniques..especially with watercolor as I do struggle with them! Is there a link to your swatch print out?
@lostinpaper4 ай бұрын
The swatch I used today came with this set, but I do have a swatch download that is 'multipurpose' - mostly for inks/markers. You could 'set' the ink from a printer with a hold spray (or not paint close to the edges) and use it for watercolours. You can find it here lostinpaper.com/freebies-my-classes/ Or in the past I have just drawn lines with a ruler and a Copic multiliner or sharpie. Hope this helps, Therese

WOW! I love the first one you did the best! But the last one has a lot going for it also. I think I'll try the last one first. I have water colors that I'm just not using so I'll go into my office (as I call it) and see what I can russell up. I really enjoy your videos, but you already know that. So I watch one after the other and hope I can remember what I saw and heard . BTW, I have a question, I'm looking for word stamps and I have all the usuals, but would like some that you don't see everyday. Is there a good place to look for some? My newest one if 2 sizes of the word Life, I have been looking for that one for ages. I just like being unique in some small way. Thanks for all these wonderful videos!
@lostinpaper8 күн бұрын
Thanks so much Liz, you are the sweetest! I love having a great choice of sentiments too (sometimes that can be the thing that takes me so long to choose when I am making a card lol.) I am wondering if you are looking for a specific word stamp set, because the first one that comes to mind for me is the one from Alex Syberia Design (but it also has flowers and a bird) and I'm not sure if the size of the sentiments is what you are after but they are lovely. The set is called Avian Allure and this is my affiliate link which means if you click on it and use it then I recieve a small commission at no extra cost to you - tinyurl.com/bdeehvad Otherwise let me know more details about what you are after, Hugs Tx

@@lostinpaper Thanks, I'm glad I'm not alone in this quarry. I've been doing some searching and finding some new words I haven't seen before.So I'll keep searching until I find the perfect one. Words are so important to me, I never want to use the wrong one. But so far everything is good.
