Such bullshit! You can't fake talent or musicianship. Mastering multiple instruments at a young age, takes commitment to hard work. I've also watched her from a young age in the Bay Area, blossom as a child to who she is now. You can't fake playing an instrument or a performance and also knowing how to write a produce. Stop the hate an noise.

People forget that TALENT is the primary ingredient. People actually have that you know..that is where it all begins. Industry plants normally don't have the talent to back up the push. H.E.R. has the talent and persona to be the superstar she is. She should not be penalized because she started at an early age. Her journey is actually a testament that success does not, should not happen overnight. Some of you need to quit with this narrative because you are misinformed.

Ice spice equals industry plant. HER does not give industry plant. if you just follow her career from before she became famous, you will see that she was putting in work for years and years and years. It’s pretty insulting to her industry plant
@mc-tc92722 күн бұрын
HER and her music will only resonate and make sense to people who like poetry. Most prolific, well written, or very lyrical (in a sense of self and awareness of themselves and everything around them as well as everything they go through) artists are people who usually appreciate poetry inside of music instead of just writing basic, generic, and catchy lyrics over an equally generic rap or r&b beat
@jessicaaye37384 күн бұрын
this video obviously shows how people underestimates people's talent. HER is extremely talented and has REAL fans. stop this "industry plant" . You dont know anything about music and it's industry. going by y'all definition of "industry plant" EVERYONE ARTISTS are industry plants.

I don't think i understand what an industry plant is. A person has talent, try to get noticed and someone (dad, manager, or whoever) find the right person and avenue to get them noticed, then they blow up, that is a plant? No! that is called; i worked hard, perfected my craft and tried every avenue to get heard. Tyla and HER been singing since a kid. like come on 😅
@old_vidz_UK5 күн бұрын
It doesn’t matter if they are an industry plant; it's called connections. People pull strings all the time, especially for nepo babies. Artists are strategically positioned-it’s part of the business. Who cares! If you were an artist and someone wanted to "PLANT" you, would you say, "No, please let me struggle"? The real questions are: Are they talented? Is their music good? Will their music stand the test of time? Are they true to their art? Popularity is not an indicator of talent. Only true lovers of music appreciate raw talent and artistry-that’s why timeless albums like Baduizm (1997) still resonate today.

She has gone through immense artist development by a team that allowed her to find her voice (MBK) and hone in on her talents. She’s an amazing artist and for as many ppl who may hate…just as many love her. That’s the name of the game. Her growth was VERY organic. Her and Alicia Keys shared the same manager Jeff Robinson, who developed the both of them. A lot of artists and producers was around her as she was growing up because her manager had made a big name for himself. What ppl are mistaking as a plant are overlooking the hard work and dedication that came from this young lady. Most ppl have no clue who the players are behind the scenes.

To be fair there are a lot of these kids with industry connections who don't make it to that level. I wouldnt be surprised if michael jackson said that any kid reminded him of himself when he was younger to a bunch of talented industry kids.😂

The issue with HER is she comes off as inauthentic, she is indeed talented in fact it’s hard to find people discredit her talent and it’s actually one of her few redeeming arc but it’s also one of her biggest flaws as well, she came up as if she was a young girl who just so happened to be extremely talented and got picked up through merits alone when in reality her father is a very well connected music industry executive which helped HER have a quick leg up instantly, she picks up this pro black woke attitude but had a whole twitter account dedicated to saying anti black racist and colorist comments to darker skinned black people that she only deleted after she said so many shady mess about sza looks back in 2018, it just comes off as inauthentic and fake to a lot of people which is understandable and true. Even going back to her come up story, HER has a interesting way where she’s pushed and promoted everywhere but it doesn’t translate to actual commercial success or establishing a massive household name cultural status, which is one of the biggest signs of who’s a industry plant and it’s strange bc we’ve seen for years the industry snubbed so many female R&B artists from any recognition while others have to work for years to get a fraction of HER’s recognition and push (ex: Janelle monae, kali uchis, sza, summer walker) it just that with HER her connections, industry push and specific persona is just not matching with the full reception from the public bc while she checks all the boxes to be a beloved superstar/household name, she simply comes off as inauthentic there so much contradictions to her. She’s not the only one who deals with this, people like dua lipa, jack harlow, baby keem, the kid laroi, Claro etc have all dealt with this

Most of the time we think industry plant we think of it in bad terms like the ice spice and lil pumps of the world. I don’t see nothing wrong for someone as talented as HER to be an industry plant. Her pops been in the music game. She’s using her musicianship for the betterment of a genre we love, R&B. Shes not wasting her talent away, she’s giving us songs that don’t sound like anybody else’s. I love this chicks image and aura of mystery, and she's crazy talented, it's a throwback to the times when artists were not being pushed in your face everywhere and there were no social platforms, so if you felt their music and vibe then you f'd wit it fareal fareal! in this day and age it takes big balls to say "hey i'm gonna let the music do the talking because it shouldn't need all the extra ish to gain recognition" nowadays everyone is so much into the character and persona of the artist that the music ends up taking a back seat and people will accept any ol track as long as they have excessive access to the artist, that's why so much trash is so successful in this era.

I think the main industry plant arguments this video could have pointed out is how she won so many grammies so quickly against much stronger counterparts for bodies of work that were excellent but also made subtle noise. Apparently she has connections within the Grammy board which is how she earned them. I personally love her music and think she is immensely and naturally talented, however some of her massive award wins so early in her career deserve at least a side eye
