My grandfather would be happy to hear that because he is from China
I like the Chinese Hanfu. Nowadays there are many shops selling and many Chinese in China 🇨🇳 dress the elegant classical dressing along the streets.👍Treasure the past.
People should wear Hanfu during festivals or weddings, I think it's much more beautiful and elegant than the Qipao, which is a Manchu style. Not to mention Hanfu has a long history and actually inspired other traditional clothing in Asia

Problem is they're very expensive. The hanfu that is trending right now is what girls from very rich families wore in ancient times.

@@morbidmistress5602 that’s not true, and I don’t think you’ve ever really know about it at all. Of course there are expensive ones but there are also plenty of cheap ones, just like any other clothes that has expensive ones and cheaper ones, so if they want they can get it in many places online with very cheap prize, if u don’t mind the fabric materials there are ones like less than 100 yuan. And I can see that more and more people would be wearing it more often isn’t the future!

@@zainanie 100 yuan looks like cheap cosplay... no thanks

@@user-tp7ne1du1n I think u can look it up, I mean all I am pointing out is that 100yuan ones probably are not as good as the more expensive ones, but again those are clothes, there are ones like 200 or 300 yuan but have pretty good quality and design clothes, and it doesn’t require people to spend a huge amount of money on one clothes if you can’t afford it, just buy the cheaper ones, no big deals

@@zainanie But they aren't authentic. Their cutting and shape is not "accurate". I would consider them Han element instead. And I'm saying this because I have chinese friends very educated on this matter, and they look down on "fake" hanfu.
This is great to see. more culture being revived. Always found traditional clothing to be more interesting than modern fashion. Will be nice to see people start to wear traditional clothes for events aswell like chinese new year, Mid autumn festival. It really brings out the character of certain towns and cities aswell.

I was thinking this as well... Just as close to historical clothing as possible, and modern clothing ways... and not just the odd stupid looking ways, which were made for animations, but has no historic perspectives.

Have costume Chinese dramas aided in the spread of the trend as well I wonder... It's lovely! I hope that it blossoms and that it encourages research about historical fashion!
