not really that either...all the small growth hacks (hashtags, engagement) don't really matter. What you should focus on is finding someone with a pre-established following to give you an opportunity. Hashtags do matter for my account. I have ~ 2 k followers. But with right hashtags my posts get reach of 20 k. The thing is you need to select right hashtags and not just generic ones like #health #water #bottle.

When I first started Instagram hashtags brought me so much traffic now they just randomly get me banned if I use em too much I’ll just type out one sentence and post it see ! Short and sweet Seo for the win

Hashtags actually make a huge difference. My page currently has 2k followers and I get 1k reach from just hashtags with the hashtag strategy I use. Sometimes more.

Yeah I'm getting a lot of new people using hashtags too. I think for larger accounts after a certain follower numbers is less important since you already have so many people sharing your stuff. They also have really killer quotes on the founder page so I have started sharing that a lot too.

Many say that it’s best to add the #s right after the copy, not in a comment. I’ve been testing this option and it gave me results a while, then Instagram changed their regulations and posts have now fewer likes, comments and so on. I am really trying to find a way to give greater results to my clients on Instagram...however, I am currently working through a platform, SocialBee which doesn’t allow me to add comments this way..Any suggestions? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

This isn’t true at all. Hashtags matter for smaller accounts, because if you use good hashtags, then you can draw a lot of people to your account. They don’t matter that much for accounts that are already popular, because they already have a large following, and they already have tons of people that regularly go on their posts. But for the average instagrammer, hashtags are definitely important
