Nah, that's a bit too far. Bias exists, but if it's completely impossible to identify bad systems that you happen to benefit from, then it's impossible for anyone to be responsible or accountable for the ethical operation of any system, because all artificial systems are designed with some kind of benefit in mind, and you would only join someone else's existing system for a desired benefit. You wouldn't design a system that does nothing, or harms you, except as a joke, which would then become the benefit. By that logic, all companies can do anything they want, and employees can't be expected to object to it, or even know when they're doing something wrong. Becoming biased because you benefit from badly built systems doesn't bewitchingly blind you to basics, or break your ability to be honest assessing when it bears out badly for your bros. Bruh. I do think some of the contracts are different. For example some of the stuff in the contract seems at least at first glance like it would be illegal in Sweden where Ike lives (I'm not a lawyer but considering Sweden's work-right laws that contract wouldn't be approved.) So either Ike had no idea about the laws at all and didn't even bother to look it up, or some of them have different contracts. Then again being kurosanji they may have offered some talents an under the table deal to get around the local laws and still get the talents

But, if the talent is young and naive and think a big company will do right by then and not take advantage of them they will just trust them and sign without reading it over with a lawyer. In my opinion this is the worst kind of contract to have as a default if you ask me. It's just so predatory.

She is an ex-mod, but I personally take much of what she says with a grain of salt since she allegedly tried to groom him, and then got mad when he didn't want to be with her. There's also talk of her manipulating him into leaning on her, then she'd get mad when he vented to her, leading him to try to cut her off, which made her even more pissed off. But I'm not sure how much of that is true either. What I do know is that they used to know each other and chatted about personal stuff, but then Luca tried to get some space between them, and she didn't take that well at all. This is just a personal speculation but she claims to have managed Luca, and done a lot of stuff for him, but at the same time having been ghosted and ignored, I wonder if that's because she put herself in a manager role and pushed herself into the situation when she noticed that Luca didn't want much to do with her. (This is just speculation and he could of course be a terrible and manipulative person, but at the same time I wonder how common it is for someone over 30 to be tricked and manipulated by someone that much younger over the internet, without just telling them to f-off and do their own work.) So while I do think some of the stuff she says is true, like about the server and work related stuff, but I do think that some of the stuff she blamed him for in their "relationship" was exaggerated or made up as some way of revenge. Either way a 30 yo showing that much interest and leaning on a 17yo and expecting them to be as "mature" as your average 30yo is supposed to be is kinda messed up. Not that that excuse the stuff he does now when he's in his 20's some which we do have proof of, but I'm not sure if she's a completely reliable narrator in this situation. In any case it sounds like a terrible relationship all around.

Luca isn't even that big a earner now, I'd say its more due to ego at this point. The manager that was showed replying to Luca on slack is the fomer head of overseas oprations, who is curently on the board of directors and is the head of Vtuber management at Anycolor. Yoshitaka Fumoto, he is listed on the official Anycolor sites about page. If Niji fired Luca for being a fraud, that guy would lose face, as he owes his reputation and promotion to luxiems success.

Quick reminder that the contract that was leaked was the TEMPLATE and is subject to alteration according to the recruitment and negotiations with individual talents. There absolutely is a possibility that Luca's contract does not have that clause or otherwise an amended clause that allows more wiggle room. This quite frankly doesn't make this situation any better on account of the fact that the original clause shouldn't have been there or otherwise should have been worded differently. Uki's case is a much more clear case of not enforcing the contract.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was true considering how little help livers get in general. But tbh by Nijisanji's standards EVERY talent has broken the rules at some point: Selen couldnt do anything right in their eyes and Zaion also did similar things like using old acc and pretending they were new that they blamed her for, so it makes me think alot of livers use whatever they have coming in to try and help themselves against the rules. Just being honest here- I still do not like Raziel. She’s clearly an opportunist and is doing most of this for attention. She SHOULD HAVE come forward about this stuff a while ago, but she’s choosing to do it now, when all the drama is going down. Like, imagine if several employees of a company were being sexually harassed by management for MONTHS, but nobody believed them. Not trying to defend anyone with this, but to add some clarification, the 3d model issue goes a bit deeper than that. While the intent of your statement is not necessarily unjustified, it is kind of misleading since it lacks quite a bit of context. For one, Niji is pretty strict on giving anyone from EN access to a full 3d model from what we’ve see, and secondly Selen did get access to a chibi model at the same time as the rest of her wave though I don’t remember if she ever had an official debut for it. So far the only people who (in EN) have gotten a full 3d debut are Lazulight, which makes sense since company’s typically give access to 3d models via the metric of debut order and not sub count and they’re the first. Hence, Elira getting her model before Selen does make sense, and thus the issue can’t really be contextualized as favoritism for one specific member over another. As we see coming up, Petra is having her officially 3d debut soon, Selen likely would have been having hers around this time too had we been living in a happier timeline.

If you really want to nitpick though, the real issue is that even after having a 3d debut - as we saw with Pomu - getting the permission to actually use them for anything is extremely difficult. Considering the amount of time, planning, and resources needed to hold those kind of events, it isn’t surprising that Niji who famously can barely even be bothered to pay their 2d artists can barely keep up with their 3d demands; if they even care about them at all.

I think this can be answered simply by noting that the contract itself states various ways of punishing the talents, such as taking half to all of their share of revenue within an unspecified period of time. There are other ways to punish someone besides firing them, even if they are all terrible.

The "Elira Shadow Manager" theory makes a lot of sense, but there was always one big flaw. How did Elira get Doki fired over so very little? When accusations are made against one of their biggest female talents after she's been abscent for months, why would they just take Elira's word for it? If management is playing favorites and surpressing anything that threatened NijiEN, that explains why. I recognize that manager from Raziel's tweet. That's Yoshitaka Fumoto. He oversaw Nijisanji's foreign branches (and we know how well that went) and now presides over VTuber management. Needless to say, his reputation must be tied closely to the last remaining foreign branch and it's in his best interest that they succeed. Unfortunately (and looking at the other branches, unsurprisingly), he seems to be protecting the bad actors in EN rather than purging them and even getting rid valuable talents because they pose a potential threat. As a consequence, Anycolor has a whole has been dragged down. And there's more. If Fumoto oversees VTuber management, he probably oversees how livers' contracts are written up. If the contracts are that bad, then it might very well be because of Fumoto. And it makes sense because look at what happened to the other foreign branches he oversaw. The vast majority of problems that have plagued Anycolor might very well be traced back to Fumoto.

so, I think it's a little unfair to be like "why hasn't luca been fired, or x or y or z". In most cases we don't really have a clear picture and afaik everything a company doesn't want you to do will come with threat of termination, even if they might have like a three strikes system or something else. That's sort of how they're written (even if the criteria for termination in the Niji contract is absolutely ridiculous, that doesn't mean the threat of termination isn't used for legitimate things) That being said, why *is* Uki still there. I think 2 reasons on why Niji dosen't want to fire Luca Could be: An executives ego. The manager that was showed replying to Luca on slack is the fomer head of overseas oprations, who is curently on the board of directors and is the head of Vtuber management at Anycolor. Yoshitaka Fumoto, he is listed on the official Anycolor sites about page. If Niji fired Luca for being a fraud, that guy would lose face, as he owes his reputation and promotion to luxiems success. Terminating Luca would confirm that Nijisanji sold merch that was advertised as having a print of a signature and a message to fans from Luca, but was actually done by Luca's uncredited Mod. Which could make Anycolor potentially legally liable, as it may have broken consumer law.

people really underestimate the bond between longtime friends when they've never been betrayed by them. they saw luca as a close friend, it fuckin hurt them while all this happened but they didnt want to let go of someone they saw as so dear to them. humans tend to protect without even realizing it, it was instinct to try and salvage what they could and they needed to work up the courage to speak out when they knew there was no chance. also legal troubles, i hope raziel spoke to a lawyer before all this tbh to make sure niji cant come for them

Heppens in relationships all the time as well. example: Partner A is moody and dismissive so partner B, noticing partner A doesnt care how they feel about this after talking about it, decides to do the same to hurt them in the same way theyre hurting them. however, most times, partner A doesnt realize what the purpose of it was and instead gets upset with partner B for being moody and dismissive. "How could you behave this way thats so unfair" and then blames partner B when partner B tells them "this is EXACTLY what you do to me!!! this is how i feel too!!!!" and then its suddenly all partner B's fault. People need to communicate more often and recognize when communicating isnt working, and instead of lashing out, just send a quick "hey these are my feelings and this is why i feel that way. i dont think we should talk anymore, goodbye" text and then try to move on. who does it first ends up being useless when both people are doing the same toxic shit, yknow?

There’s a dangerous illusion/situation in aviation called the “Graveyard spiral” typically this happens in clouds or you can’t see outside. What happens is that you are in a steep turn and losing altitude, you notice and try to pull up thinking you are straight and level. This only accelerates the turn and you fall faster. my guess is that talents are assigned managers and most managers do the absolute minimum, cause the contract doesn't require them to help out the talents in anyway. But there are a few more hard working managers that would work harder to put their talents projects through and help put in a good word to higher ups those talents get favored while the rest are left to fend for themselves.

On firing in companies: often companies have many requirements of their hires to the point that everyone will break the rules given enough time. A breach of rules is grounds to fire people, but the company enforces this at their will. If someone is no longer beneficial to the company there is almost always way to fire them. I honestly don’t think this is worth firing someone over. It would be inconsistent treatment of talents, but that is better than unfair treatment of all talents.

Now I want to make it clear I’m not on Anycolor’s side here, kurosanji can suck it, but I think there are some things to clarify about that contract. The unsigned one is a template, but that doesn’t mean in is always used by just filling in the blank names. It’s entirely possible that some talents were given different versions in order to accommodate the talent in some ways. If Anycolor really believed Luka was a talent worth signing then they may have discussed with him about amending the section of the contract in question to make exception for Raziel, saying he can share some stuff with them because they thought he was valuable enough as a talent that it was worth it. It’s possible many talents, in fact, might have different variations on the contract, some of them might have gotten better cuts of their profits, some might have more or less freedom in what they post, etc.. That contract is only really useful to get an idea of what Anycolor is like to work with and shouldn’t be used to point out someone violated it because for all we know they didn’t violate the contract they signed

I think I agree the most with the sentiment that the lack of management in place at Niji is what could've compelled Luca to overshare confidential stuff to his mods, ex or not. it is unwise for any 3rd party to work with a Ninji Liver as any contracts made over rights and compensation are void since ninji gets ownership transferred to them in entirety and all legal fault is on the talents, this means ninji can use it as they will and you cant do anything but sue the liver and even then it has no effect on ninji other then them docking 6 months of pay from the talent for violating company guidelines, no contract made with ninji livers is valid, avoid them or get ripped off.

Now, people favor the other (those who quit/terminated or those who don't want nijisanji's system). In another note: The question is up to what point or level favoritism for a liver is in Niji. That people don't know yet. For example, someone getting higher cut on sales than others. Or someone getting a discount on Niji service.
