I have tickets to see Skindred tomorrow night in Sydney Australia, cant wait! Saw them for the 1st time last year at a music festival when i was travelling through Europe, they were the highlight of the festival. Underrated gem of a band. Fun fact, these guys are a Welsh band from the UK, the lead singers heritage is jamacian, thats where the reggae influences come from. The just won a british music award this year for their latest album.

Skindred are awesome! I've seen them live several times and they kill it every time! Benji is an awesome singer - check out Benji singing 'pressure' acoustically (the video is decades old) but it will show you what a talent he has live. Great reaction! ✨

I remember meeting the guitarist in 2010 at a heavy metal summer school in Brighton where I live in the UK and he was very cool. He taught us how to play this song on guitar. Pity I never got to meet Benji Webb though.😅

Skindred call themselves 'ragga metal'. They are definitely more than reggae metal. As you mentioned, the lyrics are a challenge for most of us, so I do recommend having them on hand in the future. 😉 I think you would also really enjoy their other songs "Set Fazers" and "Ninja". I love these guys! 🤘
