Hi Clay, 25 here. It's a pleasure to be able to listen to your videos, and I've been watching for about 4 years. The sub count has grown heaps, but more importantly it's been great to hear your input on life and see you grow and change your opinions. A lot of the older fellas I know are so stuck in their ways they're going backwards, so I've always had a huge respect for how you carry yourself. I lost my Grandmother in November of last year following a stent procedure she did not recover from, following a heart attack. I know you deal with heart disease too, but it hits home when you talk about it more, now. You're a legend and nothing less, hope to see many more videos in the future when your health permits it. Hey Jacob, sorry you lost your grandmother, bro. There is always a risk putting in a stent that the catheter can break off a piece of soft plaque cause either a clot or heart attack. For that reason, when I was booked to have my stent, I canceled it. I now no longer need a stent. Thanks for your comment bro.

I was dreading 2023 as I was was turning 60 & becoming a grandfather for the first time & both events had me shitting myself. As a kid I though anyone aged 50+ was just an old bastard on borrowed time lol. I've now come to terms with my age but becoming a grandfather is the absolute best thing. I lost my bro during the first covid lockdown & my Mum during the second covid lockdown & so due to covid funeral restrictions my family couldn't celebrate both passings. But my grandsons arrival has had a significant positive effect on me & I feel this joy within every time I see him. Anyway...appreciate your vlogs & candidness. Keep well fella.

I'm 50...I been catching pigs since I was 14..I've had some good dogs and caught alot of good boars from one end of NZ to the other....I can tell all you young fellas out there that the best pig to catch is a fat 80 to 100lb sow...no vet bills, no dogs dead or stuffed up , no tears and no jealous pighunters trying to poison or steal ya dogs....good on ya clay

From what I've been reading/listeing to; YT Shorts aren't great for building a channel and there's been more traction being gained now for the long form. The longer form gives you solid subs who watch for longer; which in turn is better for monetisation etc. Plus they are continually watched over time/years; not just for a short period and then that's it. I've made a bit of a mistake by pursuing Shorts. It's built nearly 5k subs; but the analytics show that those subs pretty much only watch shorts
