Man does the 1996 model bullet 350 has heavier crank, the 1996 model is mine and it feels heavy but I have a friend who has a 91 model bullet 350 but when I'm on that I feel significantly less weight than mine bro does heavier crank weight affects on cruising speed of a bullet and by the way nice video man I didn't understand the weight thingy of the bullet until I've seen your video nice one bro I've now understood it thanks..!

Increasing crank weight is commonly observed yes...Whenever you see something like those you mentioned kindly click photos and we will see what they are about...even as per company records they never made anything above 10.5 in 350 cc

Interesting information.... Well I would like to add one thing that the crank weights are not constant for all bikes even though made in the same batch. I have personally noticed 10.290 kgs , 10.350 kgs and 10.675kgs cranks in our 2008 standard cast iron models. The heaviest one comparatively gives louder thump and smoother ride even at 20km/h speeds. And I have been told by an expert that slight differences in weights is a common thing but anything above 10.5kgs is rare. I think, may be to balance the cranks they scrape off some weight here and there(well it is my assumption only as of now and I need to know more about this balancing process which was being carried out in new cranks in those times. ) I have heard of 7kgs to 9kgs cranks from different year models but always wondered whether the diameter of the crank also had any effect on the performance of the engine as I heard that the cranks back in 50s had lesser diameter. Again it is a grey area. Brother, did you get any information about the brass rockers of the 50s models? Any info would be of great help.

I have a 93 bullet, and the last time I checked the crank weight was when I had redone the engine which was probably some 8yrs back, I wasn't aware that this was also a thing until my mechanic told me it weighed a little more than 9Kgs and that's a good thing. But according to him the crank weight was reduced in the electra for the first time to accommodate a self start motor, the motors fried with a heavy crank. But any model without a self start mechanism usually has a heavy crank is the general perception.
