Why Hero Shooters Always Have More DPS Than Support And Tanks!

Ima be honest. I think Hero shooters should just scrap Tanks all together. I feel like it’s an old hold ever from MMOs that cause too many balance issues. Not that many people want to play them, but if you don’t and the enemy team does, you’re fucked. So why can’t we just not have them?

I think many people don't want to play it because of connotation. When we hear tank mist people think absorb dmg for the team. You're not healing people so you don't get thanks and you're not getting kills so you don't get credit via stats. Tanks can make plays like hulk or winston in overwatch but at that point you're just playing a higher health dps since you're rarely with your team. People enjoy tank when there's someone to share the pain with. I do think it's a bit unfair too since if tanks had the same amount of characters as the dps roles more people would definitely play it.

imma be real i frag out as venom (and im playing the obj too) but yeah most tanks dont really get many kills in this game
