heroes battle grounds in my opinion is overall 10x sweatier than your average bg game due to how fucking fast the dashes and other stuff is, so i personally like other bg games better. (edit: the reason why im saying its 10x sweatier is because of the pace. now, im not saying that its bad because of how fast paced it is, however, it is just a bunch more sweatier due to that. though, in the video, he stated that he liked it for it. i didnt like it for that reason. so, its a difference in opinion between me and him, i suppose.)

You have a good point about the detail, but I don’t think you took into consideration the comparison between TSB’s anime/manga and HBG anime/manga. HBG is more flashy, and it fits because the show is flashy itself. Characters have “quirks” in the anime of MHA but OPM isn’t very flashy and most characters don’t have the ability to create electricity from their hand. For example, Saitama is just very strong and durable, but he can’t emit what looks lightning while using full cowling like Deku can. TSB has more of a “good dull” feel to it, but HBG is very flashy and nice. If Uzi didn’t make HBG flashy and had a similar quality as TSB, it just wouldn’t fit the game. (Sorry for the yap session, don’t criticize me for this comment, just wanted to say it. If you don’t agree then that’s fine. I just wanted to add more to his detail part of the video.) But I do like hbg’s combo potential and mastery system :) But I still find hero’s funner than tsb

Tbh, Heroes and Strongest are basically neck and neck for the best imo. TSB is hard to beat because it’s classic and incredibly smooth, while heroes feels very engaging and more in depth. And I don’t really compare them to JJS because it’s too unique for a direct comparison

It's very wrong to judge this game with other games. I was reading the comments and came to the following conclusion: Some people like fast movement and effects, and some people like quality combat. My opinion as an experienced TSB player: I dislike the forward dash of Heroes Battlegrounds very much. You, if you can't see the difference, are blind. The difference is that in HB, forward dashes are very fast, and you can't rely on anything but your intuition. It makes the game WORSE. Because you don't even have time (no way, absolutely, even with a ping of 50 like me) to catch a person on a forward dash (unless they are stupid and attack with it from long range). This game is very prediction dependent. And that's a bad thing. Also, you overestimate the game a lot. I can say, for example, that objectively - HB is better than TSB in effects and character features (TSB unfortunately started to stray from the original a bit...). However, TSB, along with Realm Rampage and a bit of Ultimate Battlegrounds, are still the best games when it comes to battle mechanics and balance of power. The cons in this video aren't even discussed about HB, but the cons of other games are for some reason (it's very funny to see the weak Sorcerer Battlegrounds being taken and put as an example that "Many BGs don't have finishers". Very subjective opinion. Objectively, Heroes is terrible in gameplay mechanics, as fast-forward dashes create inconveniences you're in no way prepared for (reaction check - get it). Open to discussion.

Another thing ive realized when playing herod battlegrounds is that its almost filled with these hangout kids. Also they're players who only and only play passive and just walk backwards and hold down block, and it is simple to just dash around the blocking or just outsmart them but still its so hard to deal with when you get in a fight and the person is so annoying by playing passive. I dont know if other people experience this but its kinda weird, I play morely tsb and i guess im just not used to the different playstyles people have in heros battlegrounds.

Heroes are definitely made for fast paced gameplay, in resulting on almost all other bg games being slow. Believe it or not, i think they did this on purpose. In my opinion, they noticed that certain number of bg playerbase wants a fast paced action gameplay due to their attention spans being low or actually they are just too slow on other games. So they made this game. I agree to everyone that TSB feels SLOW when i play Heroes for like 3 days. Heck, almost all other games feels slow too (realm rampage is the fastest comparison yet still slow) I feel like they made this on purpose to cater audiences or playerbases who wants quick reactions or just sweats at games at all. And that worked. Look at the player count on Heroes Battlegrounds.

I love TSB a lot and have played other Battlegrounds of course, only recently have i really put more time into heroes and damn, i just cant go back to TSB if im gonna be honest. The faster combat just feels so smooth and rewarding, while TSB now feels slow and clunky, Heroes overall is just a more fun experience and is way more welcoming like its genuinely nice to get into so many servers where you can have a good time AND fight. Ive even gotten my mom to start playing and she even enjoys it.

I would like to add that this game is generally faster than most big games since the dash CD is close to nothing and also that the front dash CD is sperate from back or side dash CD, meaning you could back dash and then immediately front dash.

you can actually interrupt super armor moves far easier than with a move of your own. Simply hitting them with something that can ragdoll them (Like aerial downslam, or a 4th m1) will interrupt it

To be honest, the fast pace and flashy visuals of the game are exactly what turned me away from it. It's one thing to have to stay on your toes and quickly improvise strategies based on the situation, but when you combine that with a constant wall of visual effects, screen shaking and screen flashes, it can be extremely disorienting and hard for anyone with a sensitivity to those things to keep up. What I enjoy about TSB is that it puts limits on the movement skills and VFX of base kits, which means less visual clutter and more time to think about how you want to approach a fight. Sure, it makes blocking a bit harder to deal with, but I don't think enough people point out that OVERLY aggressive gameplay can be just as frustrating to deal with as a person who turtles or runs all the time.

Another major problem with the game is that using an ultimate move will deplete almost half of your bar and sometimes if its a finisher it'll almost completely finish it. for ex, if you moded against a person on red health and used your 4 as todoroki you'd have almost no time to use another move after you finish with that whole cutscene. The only way to counter this and make it better would be to slow the ultimate drain even slightly when in a cutscene.

Agree with most points but the character one? Nah. One look at base Deku, stain and Dabi is all you need. Also don't like host he dev literally only just added dekus 4th move after like a year and how his others only got an update for visuals and not animations. imo battlegrounds game as a system is flawed 1st off the combat can get very annoying at times (cough cough having to raise ur sens to a million to even compare to people) 2nd off the only real rewards are either killing someone or doing good in a team fight compared to fightning games with a beneficial reward for killing someone (ranked exists but thats different from the regular concept of a battlegrounds game and ig heros battlegrounds have the upgraded versions of characters like vigilante and fucking toji) 3rd off its very easy to get pissed off when you lose just cause your ragdoll or dash a little too much or less (first issue is a thing that most true stun games have anyways but every single traditional battlegrounds game ive seen is true stun soooo) also HOLY RANT

I remember being in a private server and using todoraki's frost burst and learned that if dash in at the right time, the person flung by the ice burg can be hit with your dash, which makes room for combo extending off of the 4th move

and the best thing: Kill stealing is IMPOSSIBLE! because you dont get the kill if you do the last hit, you get the kill if you do the most damage, and getting a kill refreshes your moves, gives you a special ability (like damage boost, ult dashes or the F******** black flash from jjk) and heals you, so you can Punish someone who tried to steal you kill.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but for me, I’d agree with you and say heroes battlegrounds is the best battlegrounds game so far. It’s because it’s so fast paced and the pvp just so inexplicably smooth. This is a type of game where you don’t actually get mad at the player who defeated you but you just simply admire their skill because the pvp is just so flashy and overall pretty balanced. This is the only game where the fighting actually is kind of similar to the anime. Jujutsu shenanigans and tsb arent even close to accomplishing this feat, and I have 1k+ kills on both those games. (Don’t get me wrong both games are amazing) And it sucks that this game isn’t getting the support or attention it deserves. (Also the game is quite demanding on your pc’s specs) Not to mention, the emotes are pretty cool as well.

My opinion hereos battle grounds is better than tsb so get your popcorn ima start a yap session (i love the emotes the death emotes are sick the dashing is really fast so its pretty annoying move to dodge the masterys are sick asf the pillar trashcan table or tree wallcombos are sick and the ultimates give like lighting dashes or fire dashes depending on your character and the ult move have insane cutscenes (so congratulations for finishing this)
