It, more than likely, was that switch on the left panel was an ignition kill switch. Bikes don't often need a new stator and/or CDI everytime there's no spark. You don't need to tear down the engine to see if the valves are bent. A simple compression check will tell you all you need to know.

Excellent videos... Very good... I have a 2016 yfz450r. It starts well when cold, but if I take it for a spin, it won't start after that.. I should let it cool down. I checked the valves and only one intake valve was 0.08... fixed but I still have the same problem... What could it be? Thank you
