Good content, I wish I saw this video 2 years ago, I traded my 2017 Polo for a 2019 Rline in 2020 and was bad, my Polo was fine just that I wanted an automatic car, I had to carry R45k to the new car, I bought a used Rline which was just traded by someone with an engine fault, the dealership and I wasn’t aware because the fault was showing after prolonged driving. Then lockdown dealership has to close, after trying to fix it multiple times but didn’t work. I had to trade the car again for a New car this time, I carried a lot of money into my new car. I find this very educative 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

My friend had a bad interest rate deal with his first car as well, when he sold it and bought his second car I think he was at prime. Bad interest rate can add an extra R500 to your payments, and lord knows we need that for half a tank of petrol these days.

Thanks for this I’m on the process of buying my first car , and istress yho . However since it will be my first car as a new driver I think it’s best I buy a demo car. My situation is a bit different because I’m going to buy cash , I’m scared of debts 😂. But the advice of actually buying it at a car dealership than small garage it’s what I will do. But the admin sounds a lot and the hunting down of the right car for me still gives me anxiety

Yes definitely, remember that's the bank's car, even the bank settling it on your behalf or the buyer will want a settlement letter from the bank financing it. That was my experience.
