I'm Turkish, and I'm really proud of him. There are many struggles that we have to face here, things that generally don't make headlines in developed countries. He was able to fit them into such an artistic concept. He compelled a lot of attention by designing the "the Best Fashion Show Ever". That was just fantastic. That is the exact constructive power that we all need.

This was like an artistic lesson for fashion design students. He is such a huge talent. Btw he studied architecture before fashion, that I know which inspired ths collection in a way.

When I first saw this show in 2000, I thought it was a performance art. The most artsy show I’ve seen right next to McQueen’s ‘99 SS show.

Ive been to his exhibition in Design Museum in London, it was amazing, each collection is a unique art project and deep research and message. He is one of my favourite artists, i would say "designer" because he just uses fashionas his medium, he could've been amazing sculptor or architect, it is all about ideas and art!

Hussein chalayan is such an underrated designer that when i didn't saw his transformer dress in the met gala tech x fashion (forgot the exact name cause it's so boring) i was utterly disappointed. Shame on anna for not letting anyone wear the dress or atleast assigning it to someone.

This fashion show was not comparable to the 90s iconic shows, for example my favourite one - john galiano 98 opera one. Everything back in time, before this, was better in the aesthetics starting with the walk of the models.
