I believe the best hotels in lima are the ones who are in Barranco and Miraflores district. That’s because the barrio of those hotels are more walkeable. Like hotel B, Marriott and Belmont .

I love hotels in Lima but I would recommend you airbnbs in miraflores for the next time visit. Most likely you could find a 2 bed 2 bath apt for the same price that you paid for the hotel ans will have more touristic areas around

The airport Jorge Chavez is not in Lima actually, is in Callao wich is a constitutional province and it happens to be in an industrial area thats why is so chaotic right outside. Lima only has military airports.

como peruanos nos debería avergonzar mucho lo mal conductores que hay en este país, tenemos miles de cosas hermosas que ofrecer al turista pero hay otras cosas más de la que tenemos que mejorar, es muy triste que los conductores sean unos salvajes manejando sin respeto alguno a la vida, disculpen si ven eso al llegar, yo que soy ciclista vivo en primera mano lo caótico que es la educación vial de Lima, espero mejoremos y dejemos atrás ese mal vivir y convivir de hace años y que es incompatible con una sociedad civilizada.

Gracias al neo liberalismo salvaje, a la dictadura actual y el apoyo empresarial dominante es que en el Perú la educación en general es miserable y por eso nadie respeta las reglas de tránsito y menos a los peatones así que si vienen al Perú ya es un deporte de aventura extremo, vivir o morir, provecho.
