In SG it seems when these things happen we just accept and do. But they are not the usual and you are correct, we need to balance more. Not so kiasu. Money and 'Things' can always be replaced, time never can. I played golf for most of my adult life and raised a family was well. Went on overseas trips and always managed to play golf there as well. There was no secret, I would get up really early and would be done by the time the rest of the family woke up and then we would do things as a family. My wife and daughters did Taekwon Do, and I took the kids to golf with me (one daughter got a full ride golf scholarship to the US out of it). We did things with the kids, not for them. Now they are all grown and do their own thing, but what we got out of it was all that time spent with them growing up. Worth it... Someone once said that the two saddest words in the English language are "If only" - I would tend to agree.

I’ve grown and learnt how to work with efficiency as priority. Ever since covid lockdown, it’s been giving me the chance to practice and put it in good use. Time spent with my family, boyfriend and friends is the essence of life. Nothing compares to that! Setting firm boundaries at work also allows coworkers and bosses to respect you and know when is too much. Being an introvert helps too as I only invest time in meaningful relationships and activities!

I just lost my mum one week ago. It was devastating until I realised she is leaving for a better world without pain/worries. I realised that we should really make full use of our time here in this world. Do something happy n positive. Not everything is about $$$$.

Agree that time is precious. Recently I created a personal dashboard to remind me how much time I've left based on avg life expectancy. It changes my perspective on prioritizing time and spend it on things I value most.

Such a take away knowledge and thing to think about. I truly love how you put it. Just a punt on that Albert Einstein theory on space and time. He mentions time is relative - from online "in other words, the rate at which time passes depends on the observer's frame of reference. The faster a clock moves, the slower time passes according to someone in a different frame of reference (like speed)." A very good afternoon. KK. Time management remains and is a difficult thing. Usually your plan is good, but the outside factors. The outside factors like to disrupt your plan. And that creates a lot of stress to get around your day again. Sometimes you just can't say no to those things. When one of your best friends asks for help. Good time management has also ended up Between work and private life. if you don't do that right, i'm the prime example of. Then you get a burnout. As I have it now. That my burnout happened is considered a good life lesson. The lesson I learned from it. That your work should never be more important. if your private life When I was still working there I missed too many important events and people. I wish you a nice working week. PS that dress you're wearing looks great on you.

You've made me think… Here's my average day ~ Sleep: 7-8 hours Work: 4-5 hours Commute: 20 min. Eat / Drink: 1.5 hours Line Up / Shopping: 10 Min. Personal Care: 20 Min. Chores: 1-2 hours Social: 5 Min. Watch Media: 2-3 hours Exercise: 1.5 hours That still leaves me with some unaccounted time. You make some very excellent points towards the end of this video, I do have enough time to do better. 🙏🏼

Totally agree. Time is precious & valuable asset becos time gone by faster and we aged. I missed my youth and not able to spend more time with my beloved mom who passed away a year ago without able to attend her funeral during covid lock down. I felt guilty for not able to spend more time with mom for being a caregiver to my family members who were sick. I am stuck in Singapore and wish to be able to fly back hometown to visit my own family on mid year or year end after covid cases in my hometown getting better.

I agree with you on making time work to fit your needs. If there is one thing I learned in my business it’s time management! A person should manage time and not let time manage them . At first I made a list and rearranged it as needed during the day to get the most done . Now on that getting old part .. I guess I’ve not been able to slow that down 😂
