If you're going to Botswana, you should definitely check out some of the National Parks, like Okavango Delta/Moremi Game Reserve and Nxai Pan (So much amazing wildlife etc. and feels much less touristy than places like Kruger Park in South Africa, but obv depends if you get a guided tour or go alone/with a friend that has had experience in national parks etc.) What is also really cool is Kubu Island (basically a small "island" inside a Salt Pan with a ton of Baobab trees)

From others, I have heard that you have to be ready for several different climates on your climb. From t-shirt to winter jacket. If you hire a porter, which many do, be careful of theft. Also enquire about malaria medication, I think you have to start about three weeks before. A terrific place to visit is Zanzibar, just off the coast of Tanzania. No matter where you go, don't flash cash and if kids crowd around you, give them notepads and pencils, no money. Good luck and stay safe!
@justinbchen
@justinbchen 10 ай бұрын
You start malarone 1-2 days before entering a risky area and end 7 days after. It can't be used long-term due to side effects. The kids also typically appreciate gifts of food.

@@justinbchen - Yeah, depends on what medecine is available in your country. I was fortunate to spend time in Zanzibar, absolutely loved it! Fruit (oranges) are also good for the kiddies but I found that even small hotels ran out of paper, so it just made sense to me to help with school materials. It is quite impoverished as are many World Heritage sites.

Cool to see you in Cape Town. Enjoy. Garden route is a nice road trip. The Cederberg region is really beautiful too. If you like wine and nice vibes then Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are nice places to visit. Botswana has the Okavango river delta which is where a river just gives up and evaporates instead of going to the sea. I think that's cool. May as well visit Big Daddy sand dune & Skeleton coast in Namibia too, it's kind of on the way. Good luck with Kilimanjaro, you don't need to train or anything, and chances are you'll be fine with the altitude. But one thing - for real dude, the top of Kili is really, really cold and you need to figure out a way to play with like 2 pairs of gloves on. They were building an internet mast there when I visited but idk if it's finished. Enjoy the trip

Blowing wind on his mic and his hair then synchronize it with the trees are also required. This place is so dear to me man. Here's the obvious: 1. Get to the top of the Table Mountain and have a walk there. 2. Get to the Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope. Its basically the end of the Earth. 3. Visit local wineries. I recommend Groot Constantia and Klein Constantia at least. 4. Check out the Muizenberg Beach. Don't hesitate to take a red bus for a tour and please stay cautious at all times. Let me know if anything.

in terms of populated areas, the end of the earth will probably be in argentina as it has the southern most city i believe(it might be in chile but i think argentina)

Hey Rainbolt, the only country i can guess reliably watching your videos is South Africa, because i've been there once as a tourist for a week. The trip you will defineatly help you with your country guessing!

I went to São Tomé and Principe like 2 months and it's probably the best country I ever been to, especially Principe. You got to go there if you have the chance!

Cape Town: Waterfront and aquarium, Muisenberg, Table Mountain, Cape Aghulas SA: Tugela falls and Drakensberg Amphitheatre, Kruger, Fish River Canyon, Gariep dam and the Klein Karoo (Uniondale, Oudshoorn, Prince Albert etc.) Lesotho: Afri-ski Bots, SA, Nam: Kgaligadi Nam: Skeleton Coast, Etosha, Sousisvlei Mozambique: Very unique country overall. Don't have any immediate suggestions off the top of my head but lovely to visit just a bit dangerous Kenya: Can't remember the park's name right now but there's a national park situated in a giant crater and it's insane to witness

The best things to do here are to climb table mountain, you should also go to the V&A waterfront. Make sure you also visit Kirstenbosch! There’s so much stuff to do here; I’ve been living here my whole life and there’s always something to discover in this beautiful city. Also! If you want to climb the mountains, I recommend you hike. Plenty of the trails are completely free!

Dutch fan here in Nairobi! If Mt. Kilimanjaro is too big of a challenge, you are welcome to climb the second highest peak of Africa, Mount Kenya.

You should go ride the wine tram in Franschhoek. It's close to Cape Town and you can see one of the prettiest places in South Africa and drink some amazing wine.
